Too narrow - does not fit gear.The rack rails protrude by just enough to make it impossible to comfortably fit my gear properly. Multiple standard-sized modules did not fit at all. I will be returning this.It's a shame, because the product is otherwise well-designed and lightweight.

One the short (12" 4U) case, the usable depth (front rail to back rail) is only 9". However, the design is very cool.

This is a very affordable 4U case for mobile gigs and equipment. The unit comes in pieces and require assembly. Assembly time was probably 15 minutes but it was very stable once completed. Very impressive design and it’s holds my gear securely during transporting.

I recently purchased the ROOMEDAL 4U Rack Case, and it’s been a great addition to my gear setup. The build quality is impressive, with durable HDPE that feels robust and well-constructed. The case is watertight and dust-proof, providing solid protection for my equipment.In terms of value for money, it’s a good deal considering its durability and features. The zipper quality is decent, though it’s worth noting that it’s not as smooth as some higher-end cases. The functionality is excellent; the shock mount racks and microphone compartments are especially useful for keeping everything organized.The storage capacity is ample for a 4U rack case, and it’s surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to transport. Overall, this rack case offers great protection and utility without being overly bulky or expensive.

shipped as a flat pack, assembly required. We'll see how it holds up over time... Main beef is with the rack rails - the screwholes are threaded for the rack screws, except that they were painted over so that the screws would not thread into them. Had to chase the threads with a 10-32 tap (every hole).

UPDATE: The replacement case was not defective, so I upgraded my star rating a bit. However, the rack rails turned out to be very difficult to use. Mounting gear with the supplied hardware was a big problem. The holes were not a good fit. You'll need a lot of strength to screw these in. If you use a power tool, you may damage the screws.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was hoping to really like this case. I was disappointed when it arrived. If I the zipper on the pouch did not break the very first time I opened it, I would have rated this case 2 stars. Instead I gave it 1 for the extra inconvenience.First, the plastic feels a little cheap. The hardware doesn't come close to feeling like professional quality. The metal locks are flimsy compared to other cases I own.Amazon is sending a replacement. If the second one is as bad (or worse) than the first, it's going right back as well. The only thing I liked was the design.
