I bought this after a young robin flew into my glass door, broke its neck and died. I applied this product to the inside of the door, leaving a small window for me to see who is at the door. It’s still nice and bright, excellent privacy, so easy to apply. Is NOT flimsy and doesn’t tear. Looks great from both sides. Why didn’t I do this sooner?

Super easy to apply and very pretty! Squares are smaller than i though they would be but its okay! I have it on the bottom half of my bedroom window because im street level and want privacy but still want the light to come in. Very nice product. I am really happy with it.

I loveeee the rainbows this creates in my bathroom on a sunny day. Also love at night when the street lamps come on and it my window looks like it has starbursts shining through too. Really beautiful. The squares are not like how its pictured, they are tiny. No complaints, just an observation. Just take your time to adhere this to your window, this is not a 5 minute job. You need to make sure your window is plenty wet and use something to smooth it out from top to bottom, not your hands. I used a scrapbooking tool I own thats a plastic type of scrapper that wouldn't damage the material and it was perfect. I do recommend this product for the look and privacy given in a bathroom.

Se ve muy bonito cuando entra la luz del sol, tal como en la foto. Lo usé para las ventanas de la sala que dan a la calle pues amo la luz natural pero no quería que el interior de la casa quedara expuesto. La luz entra perfectamente por las ventanas y no tengo necesidad de cerrar la cortina ni se distingue el interior de la casa si la miras desde afuera

Are you a generally private person who has a healthy dose of paranoia from listening to true crime podcasts while also harboring a love for natural sunlight? Yeah, me too. Enter in, privacy window film.I have purchased the following types of privacy film: 1) Frosted Stripe (frost w/ small horizontal stripes) 2) Mosaic (small squares 0.5cm x 0.5cm) 3) Kaleidoscope (if mosaic had a whimsical cousin)#1 offers the most privacy but (due to it's opacity) gives off a weird soft white glow when the sun shines through. It's my favorite in terms of privacy but least favorite in terms of letting the natural light shine in.#2 offers less privacy than #1 but more than #3. When the natural light shines through, it makes small rainbows! The squares give it a structured feel while still remaining whimsical due to the rainbow effect. This one is my favorite.#3 offers the least amount of privacy. It makes the prettiest rainbows when the sun shines through the window! This is the most whimsical option.All of the privacy films are good. They are easy to install and allow me to provide my pets and myself sunlight without worrying if someone can peek inside. If you're looking from the outside-in while it's daylight and the lights are off, it's very difficult to make-out any details inside of the house. Please note that, especially at night when the blinds are open and the lights inside are on, even with the opaque Frosted Horizontal Stripe film you can still see figures moving around while looking from the outside-in. That being said #1 I usually close the blinds as soon as I get home from work and #2 some privacy is better than no privacy. All things considered I would recommend and repurchase this item.Pro tip: The squares make it pretty easy to cut this particular film to size but if for some reason you're still having difficulty, most mid-priced wrapping papers have a square grid 1 inch by 1 inch wide on the backside of it. Measure your desired window, cut the wrapping paper to size (or add another 0.5 - 1.0 inch more to account for mistakes), and use the cut wrapping paper as a guide to cut the window film. All you need is soapy water in a spray bottle, a utility knife, a credit card/squeegee, and preferably a metal ruler to help guide you on trimming up the straight edge. There's no adhesive. If you need to remove it, all you have to do is peel it off the window.

Just applied this window cling today to the front door slim windows for additional privacy. They also help block some of the sunlight too. I will have to wait a few weeks to see about the adhesion part of this product and do a follow up review. Arrived on time. Arrived rolled up in a box. Instructions written on the inside of the box. There is a QR scan that takes you to an instructional video or you can just look it up on YouTube. No additional materials just the cling arrived. I highly recommend getting the additional tools if you don't already have similar products. This helped make the application much simpler. Easy to follow instructions. Followed them to a tee. My windows are 66 inches long and 7 inches wide. The cling provided was able to cover both windows with a little left over. Using the tools provided in the secondary kit made this process a lot easier. For application - cleaned window as instructed, sprayed generously with soapy water. It was easy to separate the cling from the backing - no need to follow that step from the video about using scotch tape. Just rub the edges like you do when separating a trash bag and it separates. I will say having an additional person makes the installation easier but not necessary. I held the cling in place, while hubby pulled the backing off and pressed the bottom of the cling to the window pane. I did allow excess cling as the video suggested. After fitting the cling appropriately, I used the squeegee to remove the bubbles and smooth things out. Needed additional hands to hold the top to prevent shifting. Afterwards trimmed off the excess and was done. A dramatic difference was noted. We attempted to see inside and was unable to and it blocked out the sunlight too. I really hope the cling stays in place - I'm worried that it won't. I won't be too upset since it was less than $9 for the cling and I can always use the tool set for other things. I love the textured look of the cling. Will follow up in a few weeks to say how its holding up.
