CAUTION!!!! The charge yellow hose is 1/4-in fittings on both ends which is useless if you're replacing 5/16 hose set on 5/16 gauge set while the high side and low side lines are 5/16 on one end and quarter on the other which is fine but it should be highlighted more that the charge line is a 1/4 inch on both ends. The ad that I read indicated they were 5/16 all hoses, and it may have been updated about the charge hose being 1/4 inch on both ends but not on the version that I saw. Also, like the other comments have indicated the seals are crap, nylon or plastic which makes them useless. Good luck on trying to get a seal, plan on replacing seals.

Perhaps not the highest quality but gets the job done, I used to perform the vacuum and recharge the 410a refrigerant when needed on the minisplit ac units!

The hoses are okay but the gasket seals do not hold up to hand tightening for very long. As someone else mentioned, they are not made of rubber. They are either nylon or plastic because they are hard. Also, they have a tendency to flake-off, and the plastic flakes could enter a refrigeration line set and become a contaminate.I replaced the seals on the Schrader valve depressor with rubber ones and so far—after a couple of uses—the hoses and seals work fine.Bottom line: Surieen, or whatever company manufactures these hoses needs to quit using cheap plastic or nylon seals just to save a penny.* Update: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 3 since the company refunded my money on this hose set. I’m glad they did since I had to order rubber gaskets and take the time to replace their plastic ones.Hopefully, Surieen will change the design to include rubber gaskets for all future purchasers.

The hoses are good and a Great value for the price. My only complaint is the seals that come in the fittings are a hard nylon type of seal. To get them to seat deep enough to depress a valve I had to use players to crank down on the fittings. This formed the seal and they worked a few times hand tightening. They original seals started to leak after a few uses. I got a pack of softer rubber seals. I replaced the originals and they work great when the new seals were installed.
