Works. However, it would have been helpful to have a right angle connector, since my low pressure port is located under the air intake, and it was quite difficult to seat the quick connect fitting. Also, it doesn't have a screw-type shutoff at the connector, so the disconnect is done with some pressure in the system, even with the engine off, and was difficult to do. I bought a right angle connector with shutoff separately. Also, it didn't come with any instructions on how to use the scale on the meter at different ambient temperatures. But it does the job.

I have a short hose gauge and it works but the long hose is much better. I like the gauge its easy to readand has the colored sections for quick referencing. The price is right and for the amount of times I will use it, it will last me my life time. I don't need highend tools anymore, so it works for me.

This is a very good kit. The metal connector grips well and doesn't leak like some plastic ones. the hose is long enough to get in some awkward places and let you see the gauge. ... and the price is right.

My old kit had plastic fittings that cracked. The long hose and brass fittings make this kit very durable and easy to use. I used it to top off the refrigerant on my Acadia and everything fit well and went as planned. The Acadia low pressure fitting is barely reachable, but the fitting popped on easily. This is a great recharge kit for the money. Bought an extra one for my mechanic friend.

I PURCHASED A USED A/C FREON HOSE,, AND GAUGE KIT WITH DETACHABLE COUPLER,, AND PIERCING-VALVE TAP,,,, "WITH THE LONGER HOSE",,,,, MY OLD ONE HAD THE ORIGINAL "SHORT HOSE-STYLE",,(approx 15-inches),,, PAIN IN THE BUTT TO USE @ TIME'S,,,,, THE NEW ONE MEASURES @ APPROX 51-INCHES,,,, SOO MUCH BETTER,, EASIER TO USE,,,,,,, I JUST PURGE AIR FROM THE HOSE BY TURNING ON THE FREON TAP SLOWLY,, AND FILLING THE HOSE WITH FREON BEFORE CONNECTING TO THE LOW-SIDE COUPLER. (P.S The used one is in great-shape!!)

This is amazing value and comes with a full kit for car and or home appliances. My very expensive dehumidifier was only just lower than room temp inside and this kit plus a Bullet Piercing Valve (BPV31D) sold on ammy too is all i, you, need for a home repair. I looked for an adaptor but could not find one but this fits the inlet valve of the BPV perfectly.As the year warms up and humidity will go high I now have a fully recharged and tip top condition dehumiddy. 60-65 psi is good but check your brand specs. I can also revitalise fridges and freezers at a fraction of the cost of Billy Bodger and his sharp intake of breath antics.BPV around 10 quid, recharge hose and kit 15 quid, can of gas about 5 quid ......£30 quid all in.How cool is that !

La qualità di questo tubo è davvero molto più alta di quelli che generalmente vengono forniti assieme alle bombolette di ricarica per aiuto. Innanzitutto gli attacchi SAE sono ottimi per ricaricare anche altri tipi di impianto e il manometro dotato anche di vacquometro e molto utile per fare il vuoto nell'impianto prima di caricarlo.

This item has a defective shut off valve. When you remove an empty can the valve lets freon out of the system despite being fully closed. I did have a 10 year old valve and hose that I installed the old valve onto the new hose and it worked fine.The hose and gauge worked fine but you would probably need to purchase a separate cutofff valve to be able to use it.

It worked ok after getting it to connect to car, It was a little hard to make conection to car however, the spot to connect on the Ford is in the back and not easy to reach.
