The size I chose was smaller than the recommended size based on weight for both my dogs. They weigh 60+ pounds but have size 5 boots that fit them perfectly. I bought two sets of boots- red and black so each of my dogs have their own. They work very well, especially for my male dog who does not like the snow at all. Once I put the boots on he was willing to go outside. It took a few minutes for them to get used to wearing them but as soon as they figured it out, we were able to go on walks around the block without worrying about salt and sand irritating their paws. I can see these being great in the summer when the pavement is hot as well. They stay on, I didn't have any issues with them falling off. My dogs paws are well protected with these boots on. They are worth the investment!

We purchased these for our 75lb, 9 yr old Pit bull. The shoes are spacious which we prefer since they allow us to easily slide his foot in and they are adjustable so we just tighten it as needed. Our pup is a little bulldozer & loves to walk through bushes and plants and they are very sturdy which is exactly what we were seeking! Another thing we love is that he seemed to have adapted quickly as he had never worn shoes before and is able to complete his walks with no issue, so they must be comfortable for him.
