these are thick and well made. the largest one is smaller than the one i already had that's made specifically for jelly roll strips- which is just what i was looking for here.but do notice that the bottom corners are pointed, not cut. and that's the part that makes pieces cut with the moda half hexi so extremely easy to match precisely.i took one of these that i didn't mind sacrificing, used the moda template to draw on the cut corners. then i used a razor knife to score the top, bottom, and sides all the way around, gripped the tip with a plyers, and snapped off the sharp corners perfectly.so i then did this to all of this set.

The small quilting squares are of good quality but not what I need and am returning them. I need to be able to see thru them to center the design in fabric as I cut around the square. There is a secure backing on them that probably helps prevent slipping but I need transparency. I've rated them a four for that reason.

These are great templates for fussy cutting or just cutting hexagons in several sizes. I was thankful for the very sturdy material because rotary cutting these were a pain. I had a lot to cut out, so tracing and hand-cutting were not great options. There are both full and half hexagons included in this pack. If you are patient your quilt will be gorgeous, thanks to these templates!
