The stainless steel carabiners are high quality and are moderately priced. We use these as locks for our bird feeders and suet cages. We’ve had masked marauders aka “raccoons” trying to tear down our feeders. The carabiners prevent the pesky thieves from tearing them down. They are easy to use and are very durable.

Nice finish, don’t see any defects. However the plastic case it comes in was cracked, not strong enough during shipping.

Regular quality. A bit expensive for what you get.

I got the M4 size locking carabiners to put on the cage doors for my birds so that they wouldnt try to open the doors when im not around and so that I could easily open the doors when I need to change their food or water without having to look for keys to padlocks. The M4 locking carabiners were pretty thick and sturdy looking, for size comparison in the second photo I put them next to the locking carabiners that normally come with bird toys so you can see the thickness comparison. The material on the M4 locking carabiners is stainless steel so you dont have to worry about rust which is good if you intend to use them around pets or environments where there is water or moisture. The only thing that would make these better would be if they offered even smaller M2 or M1 locking carabiners because for some of the bird cages that I have where the cage doors open outward instead of upward the birds are still able to open those doors with the M4 sized locking carabiners and fit their heads in the small opening so I still have to place a zip tie on those doors just in case along with the M4 locking carabiners so that the birds dont escape.
