We all know that using a dust collector or vacuum system when sanding is smart, but many of us fail to use one because it can be a pain to deal with the hoses and cables. Introducing: Quick Connect Vacuum Hose Clips. Simply attach these clips to your vac or dust collector hose and attach your sander (or other power tool) cord so you're not trying to hold everything at once. The beauty of these is they're there when you need them and they're not in the way when you're not using them. Our hose clips are made in-house using super strong PETG and are covered by a one year replacement warranty. -

If your hose is on the floor, and you step on them they break. I know, my bad for not looking where I'm going. But still, don't think they should be that easy to break.Alexander's Fine Woodcrafts

The first one broke when trying to attach it to the hose. There were others that had a crack.

I am slightly disappointed in these, insomuch as they tend to release the cord with only slight-moderate tugging or pulling. They also allow the cord to slip/slide to and fro while held within the clip. I have them connected to my dust extractor (Festool CT26), and while in use, moving from area to area, they only work so well. I would give these 3 stars, but perhaps I need to configure the cord a bit better, i.e., perhaps winding the cord around the vacuum hose... but I don't know and I don't think I necessarily should have to. They probably work fine in a static environment, say if in a shop and w/o the need to move the extractor much at all.

I wanted hose clips that would allow me to take the power cord off easier when I need to use it on other tools without the need for removing the clips themselves. These fit the bill. They go on snug but not too tight. The one nearest my tool reverse the hook direction just for a little extra insurance that the cord stays exactly how I want it to.
