Perfectly described and good overall quality. The only part I don’t care for was the last screw handles to tighten the ties. Other than that not to bad .

So many shop-vac style hoses and fittings almost fit-this allows them to work together. Nicely made and easy to use clamps.

I used this elbow to make an internal attachment point for my Ridgid shop vac so that I could attach some Casa vacuum bags (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0835VRW1R) in the hopes of better filter life. If you're buying this for hose adapters, this is not the review for you.I used my heat gun to soften the ends of the elbow and shaped one end to mate up with the inside of my vacuum intake. The other end, I flared out a bit, so that the vacuum bags had something to 'grip'.I then roughed up the mating surface of the elbow and my shop vac, and used some JB-Weld epoxy (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009EU5ZMK) to attach it all together. The ABS plastic of this elbow was easy to work with once heated. It was pliable enough to be able to shape without being too soft. I used the top of a squatty, short-neck beer bottle as the form for shaping and flaring the ends of the elbow; similar to a Red Stripe bottle. The JB-Weld took a while to fully cure (about a week) but everything has been holding together well, and I've used my shop vac quite a bit since adding this elbow and the vacuum bags (probably 24 hours of active runtime). The elbow is notably thick and very strong. Even after all the heating and shaping I did, it still was a tough piece.Again, I can't say how this works for fitment of hose-joining, but it's definitely a solid piece of plastic!

I wanted to use this to redirect a 2 1/2 dust collector fitting downward from my joiner. It does not fit a standard male or female vacuum fitting. I had to use a rubber coupling on my existing female connector and grind down my existing male connector to fit this fitting's female port. Not a big deal if you have the equipment for machining parts but will probably frustrate many.
