I’ve been using baby powder (talc) for years to remove grease stains from clothes. Lie the article of clothing flat and pour talc over it. Let it sit for two or three days and the talc will have absorbed the grease. I have tried this talc for the same on many t-shirts since I purchased it and it simply does not cut the mustard. Actually, it does nothing. All grease stains are still there. Corn starch does a better job. So, I ask, is this really talc? I’m not putting money on it.

If you're looking for Talc "like powder used to be", this is what you want. This is finely ground and works just like powder used to work, be smart, don't breathe it in.

It's powder. It keeps things dry and non-sticky. It doesn't feel like cornstarch and if I put water on a bit, it doesn't turn into slime or glue. There's a slight sparkle to the tiny grains as well that you can't get out of cornstarch -- if that's an additive, I'm not sure, but I have no reason to believe it's anything other than the talc that's printed on the label. The can is a decent size, and I was able to put a small puffy applicator in it. Not sure how long it will last, but I'm happy with it for now. It seems to be getting harder and harder to find something that isn't cornstarch, so I'm happy. Just don't breathe the stuff in. If you're making a cloud of dust, you're almost certainly doing it wrong. The only downside I see is the can itself. The lid tends to not go on straight and takes some fiddling to make it work without cross-threading. I'm not sure what it is in the shape or the top of the threads that leads to this, but it doesn't bother me enough to worry about it too much. I'm really searching for some kind of negative and can only come up with that, so don't let the negative there impact your decision on this too much.

Only talc I could find, and not corn starch! Very fine powder, but seems to work good, used it for a few days now, when my last supply ran out. Use it for a sticky bag, I will not go into further detail, but it makes my life so much better. Thank you for offering this product.

Nice big sized pure talcum powder. Very fine texture. Don't know what I'll do with it all (I only needed a little bit), but that's not the product's fault.
