Bug Juice is odorless and will affect neither the color nor the drying time of the coating with which it is mixed. Bug Juice also lasts the lifetime of the stain or paint, which assures the prevention of bugs that come in contact with the treated logs. Bug Juice can be added to any oil or latex paint, stain, or sealant.

I've used this product for years and it's hard to tell whether it works. What I can say is that until I started dusting the carpenter bees were having a field day. What I can't say is whether it would have been worse if I hadn't used the product.

I had my house professionally painted and had my painter add 1 container to every 5gal bucket as instructed. My painter had never heard of it and thought it was too good to be true. I went to the Dunn Edward’s store to make sure it was comparable with my paint and they had the same reaction, but told me it’s fine to add to the paint nonetheless. Not only did it not work…but I kid you not, the next day my entire house was COVERED in little tiny gnats! It’s been about 4 months since I had the house painted with this product and I definitely have spider webs in the eves and corners, under the windowsills….this stuff totally didn’t work. Like at all. Zero stars.

For small paint jobs, it's easy to open the cap on the measuring side and squeeze the bottle to fill to the proper level.

I recently had my whole house painted and bought 3 of these. I probably should have purchased 4, because my painter used it all up. I had to continually remind the painter to keep stirring the paint to keep it mixed in, but I didn't hover over them to make sure. I had previously used this to paint my porch ceiling over 5 years ago and never had a single spiderweb or bug infestation on it. I live in south Florida and that's rare, so I know this stuff works. On my whole house, only time will tell.

We had pantry moths, I tried so many different remedies, and nothing worked. So, with this product added into my pantry paint (along with a tbsp vanilla). I completely cleared, and cleaned my pantry. Got rid of every item that had a remote possibility of contamination. Bought biokips sealing containers, for items that can be a target for these pests, and after several months so far so good. No pests. Wasting money on strips, and traps was rediculous. There is no easy way to permanently end the pantry pest problem. But what I did works so far.

I wouldn't use this to try to cure a serious infestation (like termites), but I can see evidence that it actual deters insects. Hornets have started building their paper nests on several occasions and quickly abandoned them. I stained the house again this year and again used Bug Juice. Whether it's just luck I haven't had any insect issues or the Bug Juice, I'm not 100% sure, but it's cheap insurance.

I'm disappointed, it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. Spiders still like to make homes in the eaves where I painted. I wouldn't buy again. What works good is the spray Home Defender from local home improvement stores. Not to mix in paint but to spray around top & bottom of buildings, of course after a couple months need to reapply because of rains.
