I moved into a small condo and I keep my bike inside and this works great for me its easy to install and works well with bikes

This was a Great deal! I've got a small apartment and didn't want to mount the bike to the wall. Putting it up against the wall, my dog would knock it over. I purchased this and it took up a corner in my apartment. It's got a adjustable tire base, so any sized tire will fit in place. There is a u-bar where the seat post fits and it's sturdy. Love it and it never gives me a problem.

I bought an expensive new bike and wanted to keep it in my apartment so it or components wouldn't be stolen. I live in a nice building in a great neighborhood but people still steal stuff given the opportunity.I looked at several other stands and read the reviews. I thought this would be just fine for my 20 lbs. gravel bike. Plenty sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to use. The hook and loop strips that came with it worked just fine to hold my front wheel in place and I put the other one around the stands post and my bike to secure it more in case someone walks into it.Could I have spent more and gotten a sturdier stand? Sure. Did I need to? Nope.The only other thing I can say about it is that my mountain bike which is a tank may not fit on this stand. But I don't know because I didn't try it.This is a great stand for the money.

I bought this vertical bike stand to free up space in my dorm room, and it is useful for that purpose. The assembly was simple and easy. However, the quality of this bike stand is reflected in its price, which is lower than many other models on the market.The stand itself is very unstable, and if I don't fasten the velcro tightly, my bike will fall right off. When I am putting my bike on it or taking my bike off it, the whole stand shakes around. Sometimes parts of it will get caught on my bike fenders, and even after unfastening the velcro, I'll accidentally lift the whole stand into the air when trying to get my bike off. To secure your bike to the stand, you must lift it vertically, line it up exactly with the vertical brace, and then fasten the velcro, which requires some strength if you have a heavier bike.The way I partially solved the problem of the stand being unstable was to make the extendable rods that stick out on the sides as long as possible, and then wedge each rod underneath another piece of furniture. In my room, the stand is right between a couch and a side table, so that I can't actually shake/move the stand around too much when storing/removing my bike because the stand itself is "stuck" underneath the furniture and closer to the ground.This stand does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is a good investment for the price if you don't mind compromising on its stability and the extra effort required to use it. However, if you're not confident in your upper body strength or if you are looking for a stand that is effortless to load, then you should buy something else.

No mention of this having an A or B kit on the included or online sheet. A 7/32nd allen wrench was included with 1/2in (13mm) hex head bolts? Why? A 7/32nd allen wrench which was also the wrong size was included with allen head screws. The allen wrench should have been a 3/16th inch size. Good thing I know how to solve problems and have my own tools. Other than this confusion for someone who knew what to do. This assembly went quick and after it was assembled was able to place a bicycle on it's frame. The design difference between A & B must be the design of the adjustable upright. As my upright unit had a ridged metal brace of the same material as it's upright. Instead of a rod style shown in documents to support seat post. Besides the parts issue being a possible problem for some purchasers. This product does seem to be a good solution for creating storage space only with certain bicycles that are light in weigh. For bicycle that are setup for shopping which might have other accessories to make it to heavy, a different style of stand should be used. As I use this stand inside an apartment to store my backup bicycle. I found it cumbersome to use for accessing my backup bicycle. But if you have the space the stand works fine for the basic bicycle with NO REAR RACK.

I got one of these, then got a second one. My 14-year-old son put both of them together in about 5 minutes. They are not sturdy enough to be anyplace where people will be walking around them a lot. The cat won't go near them, so I trust his spidey-sense. But they do hold my 2 mountain bikes upright, saving tons of floor space in the basement. Once it gets too cold to ride I might turn them with the wheels by the wall. The velcro strap included is much too short to hold the wheel, but I already had longer straps for that. The strap is kind of nice so I'll keep it for other uses. I also put a gear tie on each to help hold the seat post to the cradle, one of those mylar-coated ones that stay in place when you bend them around something. I would recommend this rack as long as you have a clear place for them.

First off, they gave me the wrong type. I paid the extra dollar for the other arm type. They need to work on their quality control. There was a dent on a part I had to hammer out in order to place one of the cross bars in. On top of that they placed the rubber padding on the wrong end of the cross bars which isn’t a big deal…just had to remove it and put it on the other end. In the end, the bike doesn’t actually lay vertical enough. Just ends up falling off the stand. But luckily it came with straps to secure the front wheel. Used that to secure the frame onto the arm. Not really what I was looking for. And no the bolts weren’t long enough to be used like other users had problems with. They must have thought “oh no. We didn’t buy long enough bolts” and added some longer bolts after the fact. Which sounds like a pretty janky patch up solution to me. But what can you do. If you want it to work as it should, don’t buy this. But it works…with some minor adjustments. Kind of annoying.
