I've used these for years with no problem, but the last 3 I bought wouldn't keep working. I even soaked the sponges in hot water but they still won't unclog. Pretty expensive to get only 1 use out of them. I never use to have this problem so what did they change? Any ideas on how to get these to work?

Product is great! Works on all my envelopes at the office. There's a little bit of excess moisture, but not too bad. There's just the right amount of glue, so that it works but doesn't make a big sticky mess all over my desk!

applied with light dabs, It works but need a paper towel to wipe off the small amount of excess that gets onto counter.
