Our felting needles are made of metal iron, high quality, hard and strong, and feel smooth and shiny. The surface is coated with anti-rust oil to prevent corrosion. So the felting needles need to be wiped off before use.

Keep in mind needles need to be wiped off with a paper towel before using as they are oily. I’m using the #40 small needle and it’s working great and has not broke. I’m not using handles as I prefer wrapping a rubber band around the needle. I’ve done 1/4 of the doll’s head so far. Great purchase! Delivered on time and lots of needles 3 sizes, 3 handles, 2 leather finger covers and and wonderful storage case with spongy insert. I recommend!

My daughter was excited that it all came in a neat case to keep it all together. She did break 3 needles pretty fast, but I think she’s slightly aggressive when she needle felts! 😀

Alot of supply for the price, generous with the 3 tools included, PLUS 100% leather finger and thumb protectors as the needles are very sharp. I am a seasoned needle user and never used guards, but have gotten caught on one before.

I used my felting needles I'm too root mohair andto reborn dolls and there are some in the package that are very sturdy and I've used continuously but there's a lot that break easily as well you just never know what you're going to get honestly but there are a lot of them for a cheap price

I am already and avid needle felter and this product was purchased because I needed more handles that held the needles that were comfortable in my hands. So my husband said why don't you try these. It is a great starter set for the first time needle felter and was a great addition to my stash of tools. The needles insert into the handles perfectly and make it so much easier on my hands. Since there are different needle sizes, this is perfect because each wooden handle needle holder was a different color which makes it easier to identify the needle I need. It also comes with finger protectors which I rarely use but are nice to have and the needles seem to be of a quality that will last through several projects.

I'm a beginner and was a little lost when it came to needle sizes plus it came with different things to hold the needle with so you can decide what's most comfortable to you and what size needle works best for what you are doll you are rooting. Believe me size does count when rooting because with me being a beginner I tried the 3 different size needles 36g, 38g, and 40g that came with this kit plus a 42g from a pack of 25 needles I had purchased before I found this kit that costed me $26 until I found the size I felt was the perfect sizethat I thought wasn't too big or too small for rooting my silicone doll's head. Anyway I wish I had found this kit before I bought those other needles because the needle I ended up using was the 38g that came with this kit. With this kit you will get all the needles that you'll need for a very long time. The needles are pretty sturdy too. I have only broken 1. I have slightly bent a couple but I was able to bend them right back. I'm rooting hair for the first time. I'm doing it on a silicone doll. I chose 38g because that size seemed to be the perfect size as I said before. Thank God I had bought this kit because with this kit because I was able to try different the different sizes of needles where if I didn't have it I would of spent more money buying different size needles until I found what was the right size for rooting my dolls head. You won't go wrong buying this kit. It has everything a beginner will need when starting out.

These needles don’t last very long. I’ve had other needles that stay sharp through several projects. Not these. The lightest needle didn’t make it through a single project before it stopped working.
