This amp meets my basic needs for a single 5.1-channel amp that lets me use my TV volume control with analog output jacks. This is NOT true surround decoding, but most of us honestly don't need it. The Volume is not a true master volume either but, again, it works fine for most of us. Once you set up all the levels, the TV or the Bluetooth device control the volume anyway. The subwoofer outputs work fine with my powered sub. Great value & sounds awesome !!

I enjoy this product it's got the 5.1 digital also surround sound Bluetooth two inputs for microphones for karaoke I assume but that's just not me sounds great has a toggle for fuse option to go from 100 and something goes to 220 volts I believe which is great because I'm using two powered subwoofers and it Powers them just fine and they are active they are powered so it's not like it's sucking much juice out of them but it can it handles them well the volume now is a little confusing the remote is mainly where you access volume the knob in the middle which looks like a volume knob really when you turn it left it kind of muffles are high end but as you turn it right it gets really bright high-end sound and also bothering goes up so obviously I didn't read the manual LOL but it's a great product I think was not unreasonably priced so if you're looking for a new stereo all it also has USB port and the SD flash card adapter port which I haven't tried yet because downloading music nowadays there's not much reason for it anymore with Spotify and Amazon music you're always have access to your music so those parts are just for show I guess last stereo I bought from pile that had those they didn't work but I noticed too late so I can return it but that was my fault for not checking anyway great product if you're looking for a new stereo check it out it has a sub out also which is to me is really important I recommend four stars

I purchased this receiver almost 3 months ago and the left channel quit working, and so i had to connect my left and right speakers up to the surround left and right, which worked for nearly an hour and they both started cutting in and out, and eventually quit all together. Pyle figured out how to polish a turd with this one... Complete waste of money. Even when it DID work, the main volume knob had no control over the subwoofer output, so if you turn it up or down, You would have to reach down and adjust your subwoofer accordingly, so you had to use two different volume knobs to adjust the volume. One volume knob that is nearly impossible to reach. I don't know what you would do if your subwoofer didn't have it's own volume control.Pros: It looks nice.Cons: Everything else

I am very happy with this purchase and the performance; especially for the price. Let me first note that the fan on the unit is loud, possibly too loud; but it does keep the unit exceptionally cool (I have it in a cabinet so the noise isn't noticeable in that location and there is no noticeable heat). At a glance it would be nice to have a volume for the subwoofers. The other two Pyle stereo units I own have a separate volume control for the subwoofer; but it’s not a problem on this unit as I set the initial volume for them separately; once the balance of the entire system is set up, the volume on the remote handles everything smoothly and flawlessly. As a system note: I have 6 front speakers (two powered), 4 center non-powered speakers, 2 non powered surround speakers and two powered subwoofers. This PDA8BU Stereo drives that entire set up quite admirably, and once the surround balance is set up with the TV unit adjusting the system volume is easy. I'd buy Pyle products again...and noted, this is not my first unit. And the next time I need a product that Pyle makes I'll probably head there first. I am happy with Pyle and the PDA8BU unit.Note: the remote does not include the 2AAA batteries; which makes sense and isn't a problem, so make sure you have some when this arrives.
