Product did not have a piece for the top base the speakers sit on but, I decided to keep them because it didn't affect the functionality of the unit and the height adjustment was exactly what I was looking for and the base can be turned a few different ways for use in my small apartment front room.

After moving I had more space to move my HS8s for the desk to a stand. I choose the pyle stands for their price and looks. I would have loved a white set ;-) but black is also fine. They thend to shake a little as there is only one post if you thouch the speakers or al lot more if the cat is jumping on the speakers (But the still stand safe).

I put some industrial Velcro on the platform to hold my speakers just in case one of the grandkids runs into it. Very sturdy! And they look COOL! Easy to adjust and very solid. Love em.

these are very well built and sturdy, i love the fact that you can adjust the height its a game changer, best design in comparison to all other brands. Love the holes on the stands that lets me adjust height and lock it into place with the pin so it wont slide down.

I was concerned that these inexpensive stands would not be very sturdy, but they are more than adequate for the rated weight range as far as I can tell. Even more importantly, I had a broken collar that precluded the plastic collar between the two pieces of the riser shaft from tightening securely. In fact, I was able to work around it using one of the knurled nuts for the floor spikes, but I contacted customer support, who quickly shipped a replacement stand. For everyday static use, these stands are perfectly adequate. The unusual floor footprint works well behind my desk as well. Due to the use of plastic for the fittings, I would not recommend these for applications where they are being put up and taken down frequently or adjusted frequently. Otherwise, go for it!

If you look around, you will find these stands being sold by several companies. I'm pretty sure that they are identical. I chose the Pyle because the price, delivery option and delivery cost (covered by Prime) made it a good choice. In the ratings, no one pointed out concerns about the seller.Adjustable and well built. Solid.

Avoid at all costs. I had these for about 3 days. First off, they arrived damaged. The packaging was a joke. The metal pieces just clanking around inside the boxes, dinging up everything. There were dents in the pole pieces and the paint was chipped all over. I decided to set them up anyway and If I liked how they held my monitors, I would keep them. Mistake #1. I put these together and put them on either side of my desk. I place my JBL LSR 305 Monitors on top of each one. They seemed to hold decently. Well the next day I noticed my left speaker seemed to be leaning a little bit. So I went to look at the stand and move my monitor and the bottom of the pole snapped from the base sending my 300 dollar monitor speaker to it's death. I was able to catch my speaker before it hit anything, but that was the last straw for me. I packaged these stands back up and sent them back. Awful experience. I went and bought some DR Pro stands from guitar center and couldn't be more satisfied. These are sturdy and weigh a ton. I've never had to worry about them sending my expensive monitors to the floor. They might have been twice the price of these, but they are worth it.

Bought these at some point in march and must say at the time of writing this 28. Man 2017, they are holding my speakers pretty darn well! I was worried as they have a weight limit. Truthfully I got these speakers used from a thrift shop. The speakers are indeed tall. Weights were not listed, which was the source of my worry. However, I have pretty darn impressed. Also, the stands are at their highest point. At the time of purchase, I had to do some extra research as the weight limits were not presented in the description. Despite not know the weights of my speakers, it would have been very helpful in making my decision. If I recall, these particular stands hold some 90lbs. Had to go with the largest number as I wasn't sure how they would react with my tall weight-unknown speakers. Always best to be safe than sorry. Due to the fact that, I cannot speak on the longevity (a few month is hardly deserving of classification), it will get a 4 star. If I do not come back to update, please take this to mean 5 stars.I did have one minor flaw, something that, in my case, does not affect performance. However the tightening locks are plastic. I had one stand come to me with the playact nut broken. I attempted to fix, but got impatient waiting for the glue to dry, thus this will not be included in the rating. I did want to mention this, as there are people who may be interested in knowing the quality of the product. For anyone still on the edge of their seats. I never did fix it and it is by now in a very hard to access place. It is fine and not in anyway able to cause damage. I made sure of that.

These stands are excellent. They are well built and easy to assemble. they come with an Allen wrench and that is the only tool needed. The stand has a nice design when it comes to the base. There are 3 soft rubber pads that come on the stand. They also give you 3 pointed metal spikes that you can put on, which is perfect if placing on a rug. The spikes are adjustable so you can get set for the rug height and get the stand perfectly level. I put a pair of JBL monitor speakers (LSR305) on this stand for my Yamaha piano DGX-650B. See attached pictures. The stands look like they were made to go with this piano. The quality of the metal is good despite other reviews. There are pins that allow you to lock the stand in a certain height and you don't have to worry about it lowering on its own. It comes with wire guides so you can run your cables tight to the stand making it look neat. I cant say enough good things about these stands.
