These speakers are an ok value if you need a shallow depth speaker, but beware that they are NOT standard sized for a 5.25" speaker replacement. The screw hole spacing for a standard 5.25" speaker is about 5 3/8" across, but these are about 5 3/4", so you would likely need to drill new holes, which could cause alignment issues.I don't understand why companies will give you the total speaker width, but not the screw hole spacing, which is (along with cut out diameter and depth of the magnet) are the most important dimensions needed for a replacement speaker.

Sounds fine, just needed basic boat speakers and they sound okay which is all I needed. Fine for the money. Wouldn't use for high end sound systems.

Cost effective solution for marine environment.I replaced two cockpit speakers on my boat with two 5-1/4 inch Pyle speakers. They work fine, comparable to speakers three times higher in price. Good clarity and musical, base is on the weak side due to size. Great for reproducing solo musical instruments. Construction of the speaker is top notch.

The old original speakers were completely blown out on our RV, so installed these. Super easy install, great sound, and no more buzzing. Our old speakers did not have a backlight option, so we did not have the wiring for that.

When I was in high-school sound systems were big in our vehicles, so installing these speakers is pretty straight forward , the pins that the speaker wires attach to are flimsy, so carefully wiggle them onto the connectors , the blue lights are a nice addition, for less then 40 bucks they are the best bang for your buck! Not going to win any contests but 3/4 way up on volume and they are very decent. Would purchase again
