Not what I expected. Very light weight. Siren is not a siren. Music/siren button that plays one song (Happy birthday). I will be looking for something else.

Who ACTUALLY needs a loudhailer? If films are to be believed, its hostage negotiators, camp counselors, and high school principals or coaches. That's probably accurate now that i think about it. Regardless, I have no real use for this. That doesn't make it any less fun to have. This thing is very loud. Got a teenage who refuses to get up for school? You're covered. Want to embarrass your kids in public? Got you there. It's slightly nicer than a toy one. Costs aren't too expensive. Works well. Very loud.

Lives up to its 1200-yard range claim with only minor audio interference. The recording function works reliably, and battery consumption is reasonable, although I would rather it be rechargeable. Most of the included sound modes are novelties but the core functions are good.

The bullhorn is made by Pyle which is a respected brand IMO. It takes 4 c batteries and once inserted it has enough weight to feel durable while not being tiresome to hold for extended times. The handle folds down for storage and is big enough when extended to make holding it easy. Nice feature is the 60 second record option. Have a chant you want to repeat, record it and play at the times you need. The siren and other effects are loud and the rear controls are easy to access. I did expect it to be a bit louder but it would probably lose quality if it were too loud. At its current state its loud enough to carry your voice a long way even in a crowd but the nice bonus is it remains very clear with no distortion. Lots of fun at school sports events. Even more fun using this to wake up my high school aged daughter in the morning when she won't get out of bed for school.

Important to know that this IS just a toy, which is probably why it doesn't get much louder, even at it's max volume, than an adult using their "grown-up voice."However, all the features do work and the bullhorn does function well.Whenever you speak through it, you'll get that classic, "megaphone" sound that you're used to hearing from these.I found the "record" and "play" buttons useful.It also features a volume control, but I left it at max volume.Overall, all the features are nice and they do function well, but it just doesn't feel "loud" enough to be called a Megaphone/Bullhorn.
