I dont write reviews, but this deserves it. Have a rod tube leak... 10-15 mins and this will have you going again., leak free. Wife's beetle rod tube was spraying oil everywhere. Went nuts looking for the leak and when found, I cringed thinking about pulling the head to fix it.... but then stumbled on this fix... it works fantastic, easy install and is stronger than the original.. it took me maybe 15 mins from the start to end. Simple and works... get it!

Works in a pinch beats removing cylinder head to replace original style tube,I added a better oring then supplied, end seals seems great you need to make sure you get it tight enough though,

This is good for an emergency repair until you can pull your motor and do it correctly. There are no instructions and the illustration is misleading.After you open the package you need to remove the two lock nuts and o-ring. Then install the nuts with the o-ring under them. I had read reviews about these on other sites and it turns out they were putting the o-ring on top of the lock nuts. Be sure to get some oil on the threads to ease the install. I ran two of these on cylinders 1 for about a month as a quick fix. When the other stock tubes started leaking we pulled the motor down and replaced them all. These however did not leak after we installed them correctly.
