The installation is ridiculous. I had a different brand pergola where it basically came all installed ready for you but this one will take you hours, it has so many pieces that you have to assemble yourself.For example-The louver is 118 pieces that you have to peel the film x 118 times and put each of them x118 times because they are divided into half.And I thought this was all aluminum but the louver connector is all plastic which will most likely break easily. And of course they don't even send you any spares when they give you defective/missing parts.I bought the one with LED, especially do not get this. It's better to buy your own lights because installing LED was a pain, it has a tape that doesn't stay up, the material is so cheap. Don't pay extra for additional items, I don't recommend the product at all but if you have to buy this pergola, just buy itself.

I received the pergola a few months ago. I wanted to wait on my review until we had some Santa Ana winds here in LA. Jan 7 2025, we had some serious winds up to 100 mph. The recommendation from the manufacturer was to open the louvers in high wind conditions which I did. The unit held up perfectly!! I was afraid that some of the louvers would come loose but none did. So, I have to give it a 5 star review. It is a well made system. My only complaint which is the same as others is, there was some damage to it when it arrived. It's unfortunate that they have not worked that out yet. I did receive a prompt response from the affiliated seller. Fortunately I have a rubber hammer and I was able to get it back into shape or at least 98% there. I would rather not have had to do that, of course. But once it was all set up, it was a beautiful addition to my patio.

Would buy again. Very nice project. One section of the instructions is confusing - but otherwise the assembly went very well. Sturdy.

We're very happy with our 12x14 louvered pergola. Just finished it today after a lengthy installation, mostly because I had to account for different slopes with our patio concrete. Finally got it all leveled and the rest was pretty easy. Seem to be well made and for an excellent price. The customer service has been exceptional. I had a few issues with parts slightly damaged in shipping, but all problems were worked out quickly and to my satisfaction. I had continued contact with Purple Leaf with some questions and received responses usually within a few hours.

Our deck is on the south side of the house which gets sun all day. Needed some shade in order to enjoy sitting outside. I researched different options and this company provided the best dimensions to fit the deck. It also had really good reviews. We ordered the 11’ x 14’ louvred pergola. It was delivered when it said it would be. The boxes were in good condition. There was no damage to any of the parts and nothing was missing. I had a staging area in the garage to assemble the beams before moving to installation on the deck. It is a 2 person job to get the frame and beams together. I was sure to read the instructions thoroughly and a couple of times to make the process easier for myself. Very happy with this product! It is sturdy, packaging is exceptional, customer service is very good!

We get a lot of compliments and this material is very nice and weather resistant. We did measure 3 times and the overlap on the columns was still over several inches on the concrete pad which required us to have to add additional support for those columns.
