These padlocks are easy to set up and they work as expected, with no fuss. Make sure to follow the instructions on the package and change the combination first thing, the default combination will not be helpful to secure whatever you intend to secure with these locks. Also, my recommendation is to write down the combination in a secure place, and do not rely on memorizing it for at least a few days, otherwise you risk to be literally locked out.There is a bit of play in the mechanism for these locks, but nothing to affect functionality, they close and open easily and stay firmly locked when the combination is shuffled on the number wheels. I cannot tell how solid the construction may be without trying to destroy one of these, but to me the construction looks real sturdy, enough to discourage tampering with. As for trying all 10,000 combinations to open one of these with no mechanical forcing, that’s going to take some real determination and a few days to spare, can’t imagine it happening.One very positive thing is that the manufacturer is very responsive: I contacted them for an issue and they were ultra-quick to address it. In my opinion, having a product properly endorsed by the manufacturer / seller is the most valuable quality of a product these days. Well-deserved five star rating from me.

Good light weight locks. Perfect for keeping people from digging in my toolbox while I'm in the store. I wouldn't use it to lock up something was was going to be left unseen for months. But they fit my truck toolbox just right. They're easy to open and a piece of cake to set your own code.Can't beat em for the price.

These locks work well, the combination is easy to change 'but' I wouldn't recommend these for anything serious. The metal shell is built pretty light weight, maybe only use for lower security things.
