The Master Lock no. 1175LHSS proseries resettable combination padlock is designed for commercial/industrial applications and features a 2-1/4in (57mm) wide solid brass body for superior corrosion resistance and a 2-1/16in (53mm) tall, 3/8in (10mm) diameter stainless steel shackle for additional corrosion resistance. A set-your-own combination feature offers convenience and security with 10, 000 possible combinations – no reset tool required – and a deadlocking mechanism protects against prying, shimming and rap attacks.

Designed for today's security requirements, the new Master Lock 1175LHSS ProSeries Resettable Combination Locks combine the strength and weatherability needed to withstand harsh treatment and tough environments. Available in brass, stainless steel and durable die cast models, these locks have new features that improve weatherability, the dial dust cover and the shackle seals keep dust and grit out of the internal mechanisms for trouble-free operation. Stainless steel shackles are also available on some models. These ProSeries locks stand up to physical attacks like no other resettable can. The enhanced octagonal boron-carbide shackles are twice as hard to cut as standard hardened shackles and the dead-locking mechanism holds against pry, shim and rap attacks. The ProSeries Resettable Combination locks combine these security improvements with added user convenience. With 10,000 possible combinations, the large ergonomic dials permit operation with gloves, in low light or complete darkness. These locks are also easily set with no special reset tool required.

Nice heavy duty lock; Lock arrived without any instructions to set new combination code. Nor did it tell me what the factory preset code was, like othe masterlocks I recently purchased. Made assumption preset code was 0000, then rotated shackle 90 degrees and pressed down; then rotated to 180 degree position while keeping shackle pressed down; selected new combination; rotated shackle back to 90 degree position and released....combo set

This lock is so nice! Very durable! Made out of stainless steel and solid brass… what more can I say! I liked it so much I just ordered another one!

Quality feeling lock, I like the fact the line for combination is to the front underneath for ease if reading.Box looks a little out of character for other Master Lock products

I have used this lock and other versions for years and this seems to be some improvement. Very soft and smooth clasp and dial operation. However be aware that unlike EVERY OTHER lock on market including master, the line for comination is not on middle of lock, but at top, so you have to get used to it. Also the rubber parts fell off immediately upon receipt (rubber gasket around lock, and rubber cover to combo.

This doesn't seem well designed for outdoor use despite having a rubber seal and being brass. It's extremely difficult to pull the lock open now after only 5 months.

I was appalled as soon as I opened the box, I saw 4 mangled and opened boxes with locks inside, some of which had debris an sand on them like they had been dropped on the ground. The rubber bumpers were off of one. Instructions in some were missing. Clearly these were unsat, boxed, and sent to me ss if they worked and/or were new. Really irritating. BTW, this is the 3rd Master Lock I have tried in 5 years as they don't work or last like they should. MASTER LOCK PRODUCTS STINK AND THEIR SELLERS ARE UNSAT! And this is a "pro series" lock? JUNK!

Works perfectly. The rubber cover on the bottom is useless and came off very easily just by handling the lock . But no issues at all with rusting. Good purchase so far.

Using this lock for the gate at our cottage. It's easy to set and/or change the combination if we have people coming by. Great weatherproof lock. Works well. Would buy again.

I looked all over online and in stores in order to find a code lock that was actually meant for outdoor use. I’m so glad I finally stumbled across this one because they are actually super hard to find ones that have a covered code area and are meant for the outdoors. I’ve used this all winter long and it has yet to freeze up on me or fail in any way, I haven’t even had to oil it or anything yet. Highly recommend this option it’s also very durable and nicely constructed.

I am using this outdoors all year long in the midwest (northern illinois) and it has surved the hot summer days and cold snowy and wet winters. No signs of wear or locking up. The rubber cover for the dials do a good job of keeping the number dials clean and usable.Ability to set or change code is a great feature.Pros- holding up well in hot summers and cold winters- long enough to fit fence latch- no signs of dials locking upCons- rubber cover for dials can fall off at times but is easy to put back on.
