PROVIDES CRISP, CLEAN WATER: Removes Chlorine and improves taste and odor. Stops scale from building up inside the brewer's internal water tank by preventing mineral deposits which hinder the machine from functioning properly.
EASY TO INSTALL: Filter simply screws into your existing head unit. Replacement of the spent media bed is completed in a matter of seconds by detaching the filter body from a permanent head with a twist of the wrist. The new filter body is just as easily threaded into the head and the replacement is then complete.

I have used this filter and setup on my keurig for many years. It’s always been very easy to use and reliable. Sadly, something has changed of the quality control of the filters has changed. I got my regular 6 month filter change schedule with auto shipment.The filter shipped to me leaked by the orings and sent water everywhere. I replaced with the old one and leak stopped, worked several times to try to seat it although I’ve never had to before. Ultimately it never would stop leaking and I had to return and replace. The replacement has the same issue?!?Thankfully Amazon allows returns for bad items but it’s frustrating to get repeated bad products. Not sure what happened but it just doesn’t seal like it used to, maybe they changed something or maybe it’s a bad batch?

I use these on a commercial Keurig K2500 in-line setup. The difference in water and coffee taste is tremendous. They filter everything out.

This filter actually helped fix my Keurig. My machine did not work. It just completely stopped. I took it apart and cleaned it and changed the filter and it is good as new! Much better deal than the brand name. Did the job for me.

Update: Shortly after writing the review below. I had the chance to contact PureWater customer support via the their website with my issue. I received within few minutes an email asking about the details and PureWater resolved the issue by sending a replacement filter head free of charge. Installed the filter head and then the filter and now there is no leak, so I am upgrading from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you===I purchased the filter PW5486 few months back as spare for the Keurig 3000SE filter. Today was the day to replace the old filter. The new filter do keep leaking after installation. I put the old filter back, which it is also PW5486 and it works without any leaks. Put the new one back and it leaks again. Compare both and nothing much of a difference to naked eye. Defective filter and past due the replacement, I am stuck with it. So be aware.
