The filter fits my Brita, but I had to push it in harder than expected to get it to work. Once installed, it works great—water tastes clean and fresh. Good value overall, just be prepared to apply a little extra force when inserting it.

These filters are the old style - they still need to be soaked in water for 15 minutes then run under tap water before using. That's fine, but then they don't work well. They are very slow, it's just a slow drip coming through the filter, not a steady stream. They are also very lightweight when you take them out of the package; it doesn't feel like there is anything even in it.The instructions also say they are only good for 4 weeks, whereas the actual Brita filters are for 8 weeks.I'll use these til they're gone but then I'm switching back to the more expensive real Brita filters. Since the real Brita filters will last longer, they're not really even more expensive.
