I've been using this stuff for years. I use it to disinfect all my critters cages and enclosures. Its safe for all pets, I've used it for frogs, lizards, snakes, insects, spiders, birds and fur babies. I'm going to address the sticky issue I've read in the reviews. Its only sticky if you don't wipe it off. I don't know why people wouldn't wipe it...the directions say to wipe after letting it sit for X amount of time. I let it sit for a few minutes then wipe it off, no stickiness. Its safe so I guess if you don't feel like wiping it off you don't have too, but it will be sticky.Another thing I saw complaints about is that it doesn't clean. LOL its not a cleaner, its a disinfectant and is descibed as such. Again, the directions say to clean the area then spray it. For my purposes though, it does clean excrements from my little critters just fine. Insect, spider, and snake poop, rabbit pee, etc. One of my tarantulas likes to poop on the front glass door of her vivarium. This cleans it right off and if I wipe it good enough, I don't see any residue on the glass. Of course old, dry pee or poop might not come completely off.

The previous owners of my house left 48 sq ft of bird nest in my attic. Based on a local critter control company, I bought this to disinfect the area after removing all the nesting material. It is not scented (or maybe a very light scent). It didn't stain, and I'll keep the extra for cleaning bathroom and similar surfaces. Seems to have worked well enough for me.

I’m a speech therapist, and I use this product to disinfect oral motor tools (z-vibe attachments, chewy tubes, etc). I don’t have a dishwasher at home, so obviously I can’t use the “sanitizer” function and have to wash everything by hand. I hand wash with Dawn soap, then use the spray, let it sit for at least 10 minutes, then wash again. If you’re using this spray for oral motor tools, you definitely need to wash tools again after spraying because it leaves a strange sweet taste. Besides the strange sweet residue, I’m happy with this product. I feel good knowing all my oral motor tools are safely disinfected.

This stuff is great for disinfecting athletic gear that you can't just throw in the washing machine, like knee, elbow, or shoulder pads, or really anything that is soft and you spend a lot of time touching. It has no odor and is not irritating to the skin, which you cannot say about most other disinfectants.I say "soft surfaces" because nothing can totally disinfect porous surfaces, not Lysol, not bleach, not anything, but this seems to do as good a job as is realistically possible, and it does it without leaving a toxic (to humans) or irritating residue. Because it does not smell bad or irritate the skin, you can use a lot more of it, which I believe greatly increases the chances it will penetrate the porous surfaces and do a better job of disinfection than you would realistically achieve using other chemical disinfectants. It does fine on hard surfaces, too, but the other options are more competitive there.

I read everything I could about this product. Perhaps it was there and I missed it, but I purchased this product to use on the inside of my motorcycle helmet. I am so excited when it arrives, but alas my excitement soon turns to disappointment when I read that the product is intended to be used only on hard nonporous surfaces. I am going to use it until it is gone, but then I will go back to conventional products to do my cleaning and disinfecting. UGH!

Multiple websites seem to confirm that this spray kills the stomach bug. This spray doesn't really smell like anything and it doesn't discolor any surface I have used it on so far. I really like it to clean my son's foam play mat. My one criticism is that if you use it like a Lysol spray and let it dry on a surface it can be a little sticky and leave a slight residue. But honestly, if it is killing the stomach flu on surfaces that can't be bleached I don't mind.
