Should last 2-3 months. Super easy to install. I purchased the name brand over the generic because many reviews said the quality was way better. And since we are drinking from it, I wanted the best option.

No complaints works as advertised. I change water filter every 2 months. Water tastes great and its healthy to drink filtered water for your kidneys, body and also good for hydration. I drink at least equivalent to 3 to 4 8 oz bottles of water per day.

Again very easy to install. I will change every 2 months. Do recommend. Order this filters and they seam great quality. Have not used them but I expect to be great quality. Order same day and it came same day

My water has a lot of dissolved mineral that leaves stains if left to evaporate. These filters do what's expected. More purity and better flavor water. People complain that the flow is slow. Do you want to use a good filter or be a filter? I only use I for water I'll consume, not for washing dishes. I run filtered water into 2 L to mix up tea. Tea doesn't turn cloudy. Don't run hot water thru it ( in the instructions) as the light that signals when to change stops working. It's slower than the other brand it replaced but I can tell a difference. Better flavor water.

No, you can't magically put a filter into your water line. Yes, you have to buy the filter mount for it. But these filters are worth it.So what gives about water? It has no flavor! Wrong!! It does have flavor and that flavor comes from the minerals found within the water. That's why tap water from different regions have different tastes. The Pur filter filters out certain minerals that I find to be a little harsher. What are they? I don't know. But the water has a softer feel to it and has a cleaner taste. This is why I trust Pur filters, and this one in particular. And now, a lesson in water. Do you buy bottled water thinking it's better than tap? Think again! Laws require that public water sources be tested frequently (usually daily). Some cities like Austin, Texas test their water several times a day, every day. They test for parasites and bacteria and viruses. Bottled water companies do not have to suffer that burden. Even worse, they usually steal water from local water supplies and re-sell it to the public for exorbitant amounts of money. Then they label the water "Artisan" or "glacier" or "mountain fresh." It's all nonsense. There are a few exceptions but those opinions are not for here. Not only do these companies steal water but the oil needed for the plastic bottles is ridiculous. Here's what I do. Yes, I'm guilty of buying certain brands of bottled water. However, I re-use those bottles by filling it with my filtered water at home. If I'm lucky enough to remember, I'll use a stainless steel thermos to take water with me.Make sure you drink plenty of water. Make sure you do it responsibly. This Pur filter will help you with both.

I like the PUR FAUCET MOUNT WATER FILTER very much. The first filter was very slow to let the water flow out, but subsequently the renewed 2nd filter is much better, and the water is coming out much faster. The water tastes very nice.
