About this item

  • INNOVATIVE SOLUTION: The PumpSpy Sump Pump Stand is designed to provide additional protection and increased efficiency. It is more resistant to damage and corrosion than using a brick to raise a sump pump. It gives extra elevation to prevent clogs caused by sediment buildup while supplying a solid foundation for your sump pumps.
  • BUILT-IN FEATURE: The flow channels in this sump pump stand improve water migration to the pump and act as a buffer between the pump's suction point and the surface, ensuring peak performance and the pump's longevity. The sump pump's life expectancy can be increased due to the reduced amount of sediment that can get trapped.
  • RELIABLE CONSTRUCTION: Our sump pump stand is manufactured using high-quality corrosion-resistant materials that will stand the test of time. The built-in feet and the sturdy base can withstand more than enough weight and force for a typical sump pump application. It is lightweight and reliable, weighing 7.8 ounces and measuring 9.75 x 7.25 x 2.5 inches.
  • EXCELLENT FLEXIBILITY: If you need to lift a pump off the bottom of the basin floor or pit, this sump pump stand will do the trick! The versatile and universal design makes it compatible with most sump pump brands and sizes. Both top or bottom suction pumps can utilize this stand.
  • ABOUT US: PumpSpy, located in Michigan, USA, was founded in 2013 with one goal, which is to eliminate basement flooding due to sump pump issues. We offer a wide variety of products, including pipe and drainage fittings, sump pump accessories, float activation switches, check valves, and more to help you quickly detect water levels and keep your basements dry and flood-free.

This helps elevate my sump pump to prevent clogging. My only issue is it would fit my pump better if it was a little larger, but it does the job.

The base works well keeping the pump away from dirt and gravel. It keeps it level. It protects the pump well.

Perfect for our needs. Live in high water table so we wanted 2 sumps in the same pit, couldn’t make it happen until I bought this stand. Worked perfect. We now have peace of mind with 2 sumps in out sump pit. Would buy again.

this stand works perfect and is the ideal fit for my sump pump. the drainage spaces help keep consistent flow and less clogging from small rock or sand build up. Just the right height to give a little more flow and better efficiency for my sump pump.

There is nothing like this for the price, but it floats! Granted I should drain and bail the whole tank before putting in the new sump and this new stand, but like a normal lazy person I just wanted to install in the wet sump pit. The plastic stand, less than half the main competitor mind you, FLOATS. You can try and turn it up-side-down and shake it underwater to get most of the bubbles to drift out, but it's still buoyant. Trying to hang down a sump it with a 50lb pump while holding down the floating stand and line everything up was a nightmare. But hey, $15 for a stand.

I recently purchased a new sump pump and backup pump system for my 35 year old sump well. I bought two of these pump stands because my last pump failed due to clogging from silt and algae build up in the bottom of the well. Outside of the well, they fit both the primary and backup Wayne pumps perfectly. But inside the well, using a yin yang layout, I wasn't able to position the pumps, tie in all the piping, and set the backup float such that everything was below the max water line. My well is not deep enough nor wide enough to accommodate both. What I really needed was a full well standoff (a large molded plastic circle with holes), about half as high as this pump stand, which would allow me to position my pumps where ever they needed to be, but not touching the bottom of the well, and fit properly without being constrained by the molded pump stand. But no one makes that... I even though about using just one stand, but for which pump? The primary should be lifted as it's the one that will do most of the work, but the backup is the one pump you need to have the most confidence in. I ended up returning both stands. My last pump ran for 15 years before the build up cut its life, so it's on me to clean out the sump well with my wet/dry vac every other year to keep the pumps operating properly. If my well had been slightly wider and slightly deeper, I'd be using stands on both pumps.

Not much to say about this product except that it works, keeping your sump pump slightly elevated so that any junk that may have settled in the bottom of the sump doesn't get sucked into the impeller of the pump.

Traditionally, two bricks have been used in sump basins to raise your sump pump by a couple of inches. This keeps small stones and sediments out of the impeller and extends the life of the pump. There are two main reasons why using this sump pump stand is a better solution than a couple of bricks:1. The bottom of sump pump basins can be slightly uneven. This stand has three legs so no matter how uneven the bottom of your sump basin, the pump won’t be unstable. Bricks on a slightly uneven surface will allow the pump to rock and sway.2. The stand has cut outs to allow sediment that has been churned up to flow back to the bottom of the basin. Two bricks present a flat surface that will allow sediment to accumulate and to be sucked up into the sump pump’s impeller. So bricks may not do as much to isolate your sump pump from sediment. This stand is solid, but it would still make sense to zip tie the center area of your pump—the area between the discharge port and the pump motor—to the stand, reducing the possibility for the stand or pump to shift. Using a zip tie will also make it easier to position the pump and stand in the basin.Compared to the numerous look-alike sump pump stands, the PumpSpy stand is heavier-duty.

Exactly what was needed to raise my Zoeller 53 sump pump by around 1 3/4 inches. Which in my chamber equates to about 1.3 gallons. Good price and although coming from the USA arrived in just a few days.

The stand is as described and does the trick. Another reviewer mentioned it would be nice if the height was adjustable, well.... I am using a Liberty 457 1/2hp pump which is VERY light as far as sump pumps go (Aluminium with fins for cooling). As this base floats it decreased the weight of my sump enough to make it unstable. I flipped the stand upsidedown so the legs are facing up and placed the sump ontop. The legs now act as "stabilzers" to keep it from tipping and it still provides lift off the bottom of the pit.Not as intended, but works fantastic for my application. PumpSpy feel free to send royalties my way. ;)
