Definitely, I read all bad reviews, but still decided to buy it since there's not much on the market ( clock and thermometer for a car). I was really surprised when I got it. First of all, it was returned by someone and it was taped with scotch. Secondly, no batteries and no any instruction what kind of batteries to use ... go and figure out! Eventually, I found right batteries but the buttons to set time/date didn't work out. What a joke! Of course, I will return it to Amazon but you don't waste your time and skip this product right away.

It did not come with batteries. It does not say what batteries to use. It is worse than dollar store products.

Les piles (2) n'étaient pas incluses. Aucun document, genre instructions ou manuel, n'accompagnait l'item. Il fallait deviner le numéro des piles pour pouvoir activer l'item. Une fois activé, l'affichage est instantané et régulier. Cependant, c'est assez difficile à lire, si vous ne portez pas de lunettes. Bref, c'est très modeste comme item.

Doesn't come with batteries; but, I had some on hand. Got mainly for temp...but it is in Celsius. Traveling with military overseas...never got use to it. And they have put like 27.3º . Yes, I know that we can't rea;lly tell the difference between 71º and 79º , it is noce to see whole numbers. But, ultimately it did not work after I put the batteries in

Instructions tell you to remove and reinstall batteries. Sounds dimple enough, except, that there weren't any batteries in it and there is no (and I mean Zero) mention of what size batteries it takes.

Arrived without batteries, can see where they might have been in packaging, or type so I could have have purchased them. Just threw in drawer.

Don't Buy This Trash. And of course it's made in.. You guessed it. China. Why do we continue to buy anything from that country when the products coming from there are clearly inferior to those made in America, Japan, Europe and Korean even. Instructions written on a the equivalent of a Bubble Gum wrapper. No Batteries. In metric.. Cheaply Made.. Or am I being redundant since I said earlier it was made in China? Oh... Did I mention that not only is it in Metric Celsius... But inaccurate? Said it was 26 C.. Which converts to almost 79 F. It was only 53 outside. Don't Buy. Amazon refunded my money and told me to keep it.. Instead of taking a free product I threw the Junk in the trash

So this was my second attempt at finding a digital clock for my son's car that actually could be read in the dark. This one has a nice blue light and seems to do the job. HOWEVER, when I received my order, there were no batteries included in the package even though there is clearly two indentations where 2 batteries should be. I was able to find the right batteries after searching the internet and seeing this item somewhere else and the battery was pictured in the image. I don't know if this was just a fluke and the batteries usually come with but that is why I gave it only 2 stars.
