Installation Steps:
First Method
1. Tear off the back film
2. Stick where you want to stick
3. Press down firmly
Second Method
1. Use tools (or nail) to extend holes which under the base, and remove the base
2. Stick double-sided tape on the main part cover
3. Stick air vent clip on the double-sided tape

Well constructed, looks nice but whether using without the clip provided or fastening the clip with the "dot" sticky attachments, when outside temperatures normal for summer heat up interior of car, I find the temperature gage on the car floor. Would be fine for areas with much lower outdoor temperatures being normal.

There is a Fahrenheit scale, but it is smaller than the font on this page. Otherwise, this is a great cute little thermometer with the sticky bottom that doesn’t work. Stick to a hot car interior And it will roll away as soon as the sticky part fails. What good is a thermometer that can’t take the heat?

I'm not sure what you can use this for, I need a magnifying glass for my kids to read the temp and the numbers are so small we can't tell if it's 60 or 65 or closer to 70.Seems to be well made, just can't imagine who can see the dial numbers and tell the temp.

Doesn't work. Needle doesn't move, or moves very minimally. See pic. Compared to kne that works.

While the Primary is Celsius I still an d read the Fahrenheit.It ending up fitting perfectly near the engine temp indicator.The sitcky bit is holding well, including the day that the temp read 120 degrees!!It has been my experiencing cold is harder on adhesive of this type then heat.

This is a nice thermometer with a good, strong vent clip. It also comes with a little 'ball' kind of holder that can stick onto a surface -- a bonus I guess. The only small thing to be aware of is that C is on the outside, larger letter dial and F is on the inside, smaller letters. Not a big deal, but not what we are used to here. Also, if you use it on a vent, it will be reading, I presume, the temp of the air coming out of the vent when heat or AC is on, not the ambient temperature. That's exactly why I purchased it, but if you are intending to use in a car, maybe the dash-mounted version would be better for you.

Science: my car was hot when I got in it in the afternoon. I stuck this to the dash: the car was in the 120-130 range. I found and started using the fold-up sun screens. I left a window or two open 5 mm. Now when I come out the car is 20-30 degrees cooler. This cool green dial looks great on the dash to the left of the wheel too. Much more elegant that the slightly more accurate digital thermometer mounted next to the shift..

Small - but still can read it - the double sided tape has held on my bike - not exposed to lots of weather I tucked it in behind the wind screen.
