This fits the PS5 exactly as expected, but I have a disk version of the console, and the disk drive makes a whirring noise if the console is not perfectly balanced. This failed to eliminate that whirring noise. It's usable, and a big step up from the included rotating tray with the base PS5, but not quite what I need.

Great overall except for the fact that I had to trim some plastic from the front of the stand so it would clear the 'Eject' button.

I have my ps5 on a shelf on a tv cart with barely an inch to spare on all sides. Anytime I try and adjust cables on the back it slides off that stupid floating stand and almost falls off the shelf. I’m pretty careful and mindful of that so it’s typically fine. I do like the look of floating stand. However, I petsit for friends a lot and their cats are fascinated by anything I bring over, including the ps5. I put it up on a high dresser they never go on and it’s been pretty safe in the past. But the other night I woke up to one of the cats standing on the ps5, already knocked off the stand…and close to the edge. The search for a better stand began.I saw some stands that slid stands/skates on the left and right side…but I still wasn’t sure if they would be cat proof. I really wanted one that connect the two sides. This was the only one I found that had that, and didn’t include a bunch of other bloated features.The good: the color match is perfect. It feels very sturdy, no wobble. The bracket underneath prevents the possibility of either side sliding off. It’s adjustable if I ever end up getting a slim. The price was cheaper than any other stand I looked at.The slightly annoying: The right left indicator embossed on the front of the stand is not the best placement. It would be better to have it in the back, less visible. However it’s much harder to see than the product photos make it look. I can’t even see it from across the room.For the 2020 version you have to expand the arms by taking out some little screws. There is a hole to re-secure it once it’s extended. If you use those holes the arms are far too long to make a snug fit. So I put the arms in their snug position and just put the screws in anyways. On one side it places pressure on the other piece to keep it from moving. On the other side it is up too high to allow it to slide out. The arms don’t budge now. Annoying that the holes don’t line up, but at the end of the day it works.It doesn’t look as good as the original stand, it looks like an add on mod. But every single stand I’ve seen has that problem. I decided on function over form. And it’s decent looking.Overall I highly recommend this product, even with its small flaws.

I had my console vertical, but it looks better horizontal with this kit. It does work with both the 2020 version and the slim version. Price, fit and build quality are good.
