Great to use around the house. Only downside is you have to have the playstation on to use it. I would say is more portable around the home.

The only thing I wish I could do is turn off the ringed lighting. There is no way to shut it off that I can find and it’s annoying sometimes. Otherwise it works great.

I'll get straight to it. The portal floats when docked. It wobbles while docked. I don't think it would be kid friendly I can see the port on the portal break if your not careful. It feels very cheap and overall isn't practical. The charging cable plugs in the back at an awkward spot making cable management a pain and eye sore if you care about that sort of thing. It also is difficult to press the button to change the color when cord is plugged in. I saw over 200 reviews mostly positive so I pull the plug and purchased it but honestly it feels like a product you would find at 5 below. Which would be a problem. For 5 dollars but at 20 it's not the right one you have to use two hands one to pull the portal away and one to hold the stand. Overall I feel it's a bad design and their are others out there you should try first. Some of the reviews mention the se issues I have and I wish I had listened don't make my mistake look at the bad reviews and if you care about those things then just save yourself the time and don't buy. You'll be returning just like me.

It's a charging dock and it charges the portal like it's supposed to. I wish it would easily slide into place though like for example a Nintendo switch dock does. You have to pick the dock up and plug it in unless you want to scratch up the back of your portal. The charging indicator lights are a little annoying. I have the dock placed under my tv in the living room and whenever it's fully charged I don't get a solid blue light but it flickers between blue and red so I might actually tape it up. The led lights are more of a gimmick. If you have a game room and lots of led ambient lighting I'm sure it looks cool. If not, it's unnecessary. For the price it's alright for now but I might invest a little more money soon and get something better

This is a good value product. Only had it a few days but it works well and the lights clearly indicate status. It also looks nice which matters to me. I use it to mount, display and of course charge my Portal
