These are the perfect addition to your pry tools. They allow use of regular breaker bars & ratchets to get into places previously very difficult to get to. They seem well made and do a fine job prying against things. The places you end up using them are more than you'd think. Once you have them and find a job that seems almost impossible to fit a prybar into, you'll grab for these and may find an easy fit into the space to finish the job. Having the right tools on hand is half of being a good mechanic.

There are really nice indexable prybars out there but they come with pretty hefty prices. If you do not need a prybar on a regular basis these little adapters can give you similar capabilities at a fraction of the price. They will fit on any of the 1/2" drive ratchets, adapters and breaker bars I already own. The only small issue I would note is they do not lock on like a regular socket does so they could possibly slip off until some tension is placed on the tool. Once the tool is engaged I have had no issues slipping though. Great set that comes with both a smooth tip and a toothed tool.

These body bar tools work great and I can't find any problems with them. The design is fantastic and the wonder why it took so long for them to come to market. The way they snap in to any position makes ultimately useable for any position that you need to pry on something. Great tool for any box!

I have found myself using these little pry bars more often than I thought I would be. They are made of a good strong steel that can take the pressure. I think what separates them from a regular pry bar is the fact that they are short, allowing you to get into tight spaces, using a ratchet wrench and still getting plenty of leverage. There have often been times where a regular pry bar is too long and just couldn't do the job. So these are definitely staying close and handy in my toolbox from now on.

When a standard pry bar won't do because of the angle or clearance, these can come to the rescue. With a double square socket, a 1/2" drive can fit into it at 45 degree intervals. Both measured 0.3870" thick, the shorter bar has a smooth jaw and the longer one a toothed jaw. The smaller one has a socket that measured 0.5095", which was slightly loose for a 1/2" drive. Alas, the larger pry tool has a socket that measured 0.5215", which was quite loose. While this didn't prevent the tool from working (in helping disconnect an axle), the sloppiness was somewhat less than ideal with my breaker bar, hence 4 stars.

Package comes with 2 Crowbar Adapter Head Tools. One is smaller, 2 3/4" max length, the larger one 3 5/8" overall with teeth on the lifting edge to grip better. Both are 3/8" thick, seem to be made from heavy bar stock, not sure if machine or laser cut.You need a 1/2" drive breaker bar to use these. I tried a 1/2" drive ratchet, but couldn't get a solid purchase to do a lift test. Tools have an 8-point star, allowing several angles to position the breaker bar. They work, and probably will be useful in the tool box for use as needed for small lifts to adjust appliance feet and to get a start on a large piece, allowing you to more easily use a large crowbar. 1/4 star off for feeling like wiped with machine oil so the won't rust before you get them, 3/4 star off for being a real loose fit on the breaker bar. A snugger fit would increase overall stability of these Crowbar Adapter Head Tools, but may be needed to assure easily removing the breaker bar if you need to change the working angle.
