Step 1
Use a utility knife or painters tool to score the top of the seam where the trim meets the wall. This will prevent tearing the paint from the wall.
Step 2
Position the Trim Puller's front face against the wall with the sharp edge on the seam where the trim meets the wall.
Step 3
Strike the top with a hammer, driving the Trim Puller between the trim and the wall. The wedge will separate the trim from the wall automatically.
Step 4
Once the Trim Puller is wedged between the trim and wall, gently pry the trim away from the wall by twisting the handle creating a gap.

An amazing product! Removed a house full of baseboards and a master closet full of shelves in a fraction of the time it would’ve taken me without it. No damage to the drywall and incredibly simple to use. The handle and grip is comfortable to hold and the tool is very durable.

Tool is designed well, size and weight is good and works great!I’m having carpet removed and vinyl plank flooring installed, so I bought this to remove the floorboards myself to help cut cost.It was worth the money and removing the floorboards myself was easy and a quick process!

Quality product. Worth every penny. Used it for pulling all my skirting board off the walls. Be advised you will probably require other tools besides this to remove architraves and skirting boards such as a pry bar. However this is not the fault of this tool and more to do with how your trims are connected to the walls. 100% worth your money.

What a great buy for the value we've received from this trim puller. Some other reviewers noted some manufacturing defects; I say replace a defective one, because once you have one with no defects, it'll last quite a long time. I only use a rubber mallet with this and it's been great at removing baseboards, door frame trim, and separating various other surfaces.There's a cut-out in the center for that also serves as a nail puller, so if you center a nail behind some baseboard in that groove, it makes for a much cleaner removal of baseboard or other trim, thereby limiting how many nails rip out of the baseboard and get left in the wall. This doesn't replace a hammer, so nails with a small head won't catch very well and I still use a hammer to pull remaining nails from the wall or door frame that get left behind. I've removed baseboard in about 2000 sqft of living space already and the tool still looks very good, likely because we're only using a rubber mallet.The red handle is very comfortable, provides a good, non-slip grip, and my hand didn't fatigue one bit. All it takes is a few taps to get behind the baseboard/trim, then lift slightly and the trip pops right off.I'd recommend this to any family and friend.

My house was flooded during Hurricane Helene requiring that I replace all the floor covering in the house. Wanted to easily remove all the baseboard without wall damage. I purchased the "used" tool from the warehouse. Really happy with ease of use and reduced wall damage. Not sure it would be practical for the DIYer at full price, but definitely useful for the professional.

I needed to replace some baseboards in my house, and after seeing this tool on a video streaming platform, I knew I wanted it even though I probably could have made due for the small amount I was replacing.I am happy to say this worked an absolute treat! My baseboards were held on by glue, and this made taking them off a breeze with minimal damage to the drywall. Id imagine it would be equally as easy or even easier for nailed in baseboards since you can go in between them. I opted to replace them with slightly higher baseboards to hide any potential damage, but in hindsight that was probably not necessary!The tool itself feels solid and really good quality. There were others I saw selling for double or even triple the price, and I'm glad I opted for this one. I cant say for sure whether it would hold up over lots of use, but I didn't see any real signs of wear from the 1 room of baseboards I did and bet it would work great for anyone using it for non commercial purposes.10/ 10 would recommend, using this trim puller is oh so satisfying and makes the job a breeze!
