42.7cc brush cutter is definitely heavy. I thought people were exaggerating in the reviews that I had read. However, it is quite an impressive machine. It only took me about half an hour to assemble. However, it took me somewhat longer to figure out the harness. Since I am not very tall, I had to put the straps to shortest possible length. The handlebars had to be moved toward the motor as well as the bracket for the harness for a more comfortable fit. Once done and the weight properly distributed to each shoulder and the machine balanced, it was quite comfortable to use. Put some hi test gasoline mixed 50:1 in machine as instructed. It started on fourth pull, no problem. I have not yet tested it on small shrubs but have no doubt that it will but through things like a hot knife through butter. The safety equipment and blades included might not be of best quality but still adequate. I purchased some chaps for foot, leg and knee protection since I will only be using this machine for cutting shrubs. It is a little to heave to be used as a whipper snipper (the string head was included). Will need to contact manufacturer whether shaft needs to be periodically lubed.

Very easy to assemble. Build quality seems very good on first day. Note: No oil when shipped. Only weak point is the harness which is terrible. Over all I am quite happy with it. Good for price.

It works. We'll see how long. The blades are cheap and the three blade cutter was unusable due to out of balance. They send a four blade one, which works but I bought a better quality cutter.Very good costumer service. 5+ stars for that!

I recently purchased their 4-cycle gas powered mower and was pleasantly surprised by the high performance, easy of operation, quality of construction and price. I decided to buy their weed/wacker as I started to cut my own lawn between my twice monthly commercial lawn maintenance. I received the package fairly quickly just like the mover. When I opened the box, to my surprise and in my opinion, this is a commercial grade, heavy duty weed/wacker. I later noticed the description as EXTREME DUTY. They are not kidding. It is over-kill and built to take on much larger jobs than that of a 1/4 acre home in So. Florida. It is heavy and you must wear the full harness supplied. After I set it up, I went to the home improvement store to buy 2-cycle oil for the fuel. I noticed the inventory of weed eaters, everything from the battery operated models to the gas powered versions. They all looked like toys compared to the one I just bought. Yes, they were light weight but the difference in built was like comparing a gas powered scooter to a Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle. Surprisingly, the engine is made by Huasheng, which is a high quality motor I have used in the past for other applications. The only time consuming part of putting together the unit which was 99% already factory assembled was figuring out how to put on the harness and adjusting the handles on the unit to balance the machine so that it was neutral balance if you took your hands off of the unit while it was still hanging from the harness. Apart from that, it was easy to set up. To sum it up, I highly recommend this unit if you have a commercial lawn maintenance business or you have a 1-acre or larger home. For my application, it is more than I expected but at least I know the light application I will be giving this twice a month during the summer grow season in So. Florida should allow this unit to last me a life-time. This is not for women or men that lack muscle. The low price they charge fools you in to thinking you are receiving a light weight application model. I give this unit a 5-Star for price and quality.

To be honest I was concerned about buying this weed trimmer brush cutter as I had never heard of the Brand Name before and also the very cheap price may be a red flag.I owned for 12 years a Stihl grass trimmer brush cutter so in a way I am comparing this one with the Stihl which today costs around $ 700.00.Now this trimmer is a bit on the heavy side and at first that was a bit of a disappointment. However when one wears the strap I find it does a nice balance and it no longer feels heavy. In fact it balances better than my Stihl which blew a piston and that is why I bought this one. I have not yet used the harness that comes with this machine as it looks complicated to put on. I just used my simple belt that came with my Stihl. My Stihl blades also fit on to this machine but not the grass trimmer head. Now I found the instructions kind of not great as far as assembly instructions. I just looked at the picture from the listing on here to see how it should be done. Really not a lot to do. Just install the handle bars with the 4 screws and also install the lower plastic safety housing at the bottom of the shaft and also install the shaft into the main shaft. All tools needed come with the package.I found it extremely difficult to pull the starter cord.I could only pull it out about 8 inches and not fast enough to ever start it. I wondered whether the piston was stuck or something. I decided to remove the Spark Plug and see if I can see the Piston move. The piston did move and now with no compression it was real easy to pull the cord. I re-installed the spark plug and now to my surprise it was verily easy to pull out the cord and in two pulls it started right up.I think the engine had never ever been started and my 10 pulls or so with the spark plug out lubricated the piston chamber and that is why it became easy to pull the cord. If you also find it very hard to pull the cord at first, remove the spark plug and give it at least 10 pulls and you will then see a huge difference.I was surprised on how easy this starts. The bulb that one squeezes before starting is kind of hard to see, so one has to look for it.One question I ask myself is how does one remove the gray plastic housing that encompasses the carburetor as there are no screws to remove. Also can one buy parts as in spark plugs, ignition coils and carburetors if one had to replace those.I used it to cut some two inch sapling trees with the blade that has chain saw teeth and it cut through those little trees like hot butter. So far I like it almost better than the Stihl. Maybe ask me 6 months from now if I will still say that. Being cheap how long will it last? .Also when one installs the blades or weed trimmer head one must turn the screw to the left to tighten as it is left handed thread set up. To take off turn to the right. There is also a little hole at the base where one sticks in a pin to stop the blades from turning so one can tighten or loosen it. I think all weed trimmers have that. The headset included is a joke. I tried making every adjustment and it does not even come close to fitting over my head. I think it may fit a two week old baby’s head. The safety glasses not my style and the gloves are not great. No big deal. I would sooner see a 10.00 price reduction and leave those useless items out.So far with my limited use I am really impressed. I used a 1 Liter to 40 oil mix and also used Premium 91 High Octane gas. Manual says to use 1/50 mix and regular gas, while on this listing it says to use 1/40 mix for gas. So which is the real deal?

Assembled easily, started easily first 3 times we used it . it ran fine. I could not get it to start after about 45 minutes of total run time. Motor would fire a little but not run -no matter how much we dried it out or how fresh the fuel was or how we manipulated the choke; it was getting fuel as mix vapor was seen coming out of exhaust .We checked:sparkplug, swapped spark plug with a known good plug - no joyisolated ignition from switch- no joypulled it apart- verified flywheel key had not sheared, verified magneto airgap etc, piston and rings looked virgin .installed new coil today -same deal- no start- it would sound as if firing but wouldnt kick off and run.unit has spark but seems very weakPulled carb apart with no issues apparent. all diaphragms flexy and clean. Inlet needle arm level with casting. high speed needle in good condition. Now in process of re-setting mixture screws.Unit has plenty of compression but will check with gage today. Piston and rings still cherry as seen thru the intake port.If i can figure out why the sumbitch wont start i will revise my rating but there is another reviewer had same exact problem but do not know what his resolution was.Epilogue: Proyama customer service (very polite and sincere) have offered to refund me money OR send me a refurbed/second hand unit. Yes , fool that I am , I accepted their offer of the second hand unit. I cant resist...this damn thing should run..it DID run fine the first tank of gas! I am going to fix it or die trying. Maybe I end up with two piles of junk and a bruised ego or maybe I end up with at least one serviceable unit plus a pile of spare parts. Meantime I am still looking for my little doggie. The grass has now grown so tall I cant even see the tip of her tail above the grass...I know she is out there somewhere...... I will bump to 5 stars if this second unit actually runs. I bump to 3 stars for now because these guys really seem to be genuinely trying to help me.Also now that I have had this unit broken down I can say the construction is good and does not see to be full of cheap shortcuts. Piston has two rings. Overall Machining is good /clean. I think it will give good service if I can get it to run.EPILOGUE: Proyama offered to send me at no charge a good refurbished unit. I accepted of course. It looks brand new but the locking knob for shaft extension is damaged , probably from shipping. But otherwise this unit has never been used! I gassed it up and it started right up with only a half of a pull. I have stopped and started it 10-12 times , all easy single pull starts. I took the carb off of this unit and put it on my original unit--same deal--firs but wont kick off and run. Now very puzzled. So I set the original carb up just like the replacement unit's carb and will re-install and try again. I also intend to pressure/vacuum check the crankcase to see if maybe the crank seals(s) failed. At first pass it still behaves as if not getting enough gas...... Also when I put the replacement unit's carb back on the replacement unit it again started and ran nicely! I am bumping to 5 stars as I think the unit is well made and PROYAMA'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. I will update the review as I dig deeper into the original unit's issue.
