Swapped this out with the factory one and immediate felt a ton of vibrations. It was so bad I switched it out and reinstalled the old one. Recommend just sticking with the OEM style for normal applications.

This part is a perfect fit for my 1997 Wrangler TJ, and bolted right in easily. I bought it to replace the factory rubber transmission mount, which was all-but-obliterated, and was causing horrendous driveline vibration on takeoff. This new transmission mount almost totally eliminated that vibration, but I still have a slight shudder from my lift and lack of SYE.The one thing I will say is that this is a polyurethane transmission mount, and is MUCH more rigid than the factory rubber mount. There is better power transfer to the wheels, and the transmission shifts better, but be prepared to feel your motor and transmission working. Even at idle, it makes the motor feel pretty rough, even when it's running perfectly. This is how these mounts are designed, so if you can't take a little extra noise, vibration, and harshness, I'd stick to the rubber mounts. But, if you drive a Jeep, and expect it to drive like a Jeep - not a BMW - this mount is great!

Had installed an oem trannys mount but wanted something a little sturdier. Bought this mount and did notice slightly more vibration but definitely nothing to complain about. I did notice a big difference in the power transmission to the wheels. You can feel the torque going to the drive train and not being lost by a lot of flexing. I have rubber brown dog motor mounts and the poly tranny mount has no ill effects. Highly recommended.

I installed this on my 99 TJ 2.5L and I didnt have any problems. This mount is SOLID, I dont think it will rip apart like the OEM rubber one did. I cant say if I feel any more or less vibes. Im driving a lifted TJ I dont expect it to ride like a caddy.

I did a SYE and CV drive shaft upgrade and figured since I was in that area I would replace the transmission mount with a firmer one. Bolted it into place and found out that its a little to big and ends up rounding the front portion of the mount. Both front and rear of the mount are the same length. Its made out of a soft metal so it forms well, no big deal. Once installed I started it up and noticed a slight vibration throughout the vehicle but nothing like what others had said about it being unbearable. If you off road this is a nice upgrade to deliver more torque to the ground, plus it keeps your drivetrain in line and reduces unnecessary vibrations caused by odd angles and articulation. I gave it a four star because it didn't fit my 06 TJ perfectly but still worked none the less.
