After my dad passed, I inherited his riding mower. He kept it outdoors and the finish was oxidized, so I used this to see if I could add a little life to the finish... which is black. I thoroughly washed it and let it dry in the sun for two days to ensure all moisture was gone.The key to getting a good result with this product is to do two light coats about a day apart. If you put it on too thick... which I am prone to do... it will dry to a mottled look. (I did a test on a small almost hidden trim piece before spraying everything the next day. The test piece was applied too thickly and looked rough.)It really brought the color back to almost new in appearance. Obviously, it is too soon to know about durability. If it begins to fail, I’ll update.

This is definitely a helpful product for removing oxidation from a variety of surfaces. The spray can format is familiar and easy to use, and the nozzle provides good coverage and quality. Overall this product works well and is a good option for refreshing oxidized surfaces.

This product went on waxy looking and when it dried looked like clumps of wax ....

I utilized this product on some exterior metal light fixtures, with very good results to restore the brightness and shine to the faded brass-colored finish. I was a bit surprised to need to reapply the product a second time a few weeks later when some spots occurred on the metal. I do recall that the manufacturer indicated that sometimes a second coat is needed, so that apparently was my case. I hope multiple re-applications are not necessary as an ongoing process, but time will tell!

Where has this product been hiding? Once I started using it, I could not stop. It showed great results on my metal fence, landscape lights, outdoor light fixtures, plastic umbrella base, and steel outdoor furniture. I'll definitely be ordering more soon.
