The case seems well built and is a great value based on the price point.There was not much room for the shoulder rest but it will fit in the front pocket.It comes with straps to attach and carry on your back.Offers good protection for the violin.

I love that this case is lightweight,has multiple places for storage, has a decent shoulder strap and the price was right. I was having trouble getting the right case after my student one broke down but I am completely satisfied with this one.

I bought this case for my grandson. So far it seems great and he likes it. It’s lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with straps with the option to carry it on your back. I find it to be a very sturdy case.

Very pleased with the Protec Max Student 3/4 Violin Case. This case replaced an old hard-shelled case that was falling apart. The violin fits nicely inside and we appreciate the inside strap that secures it in place. Outside pockets fit the chin rest and the deep inside compartment is perfect for the rosin. Our elementary school aged child loves that the outside straps can be arranged so she can carry it like a backpack. Great buy!

Very nice case! It's lightweight. The cover, inside, and attachments (zippers, clips, etc.) all look sturdy.It has a lot of nice features, as follows:Double carry handles that include a Velcro wrap.Double shoulder straps, adjustable, that can be used singly or together. The straps have swivel clips and plastic grips.Five different attachment points for the shoulder straps.Two pockets on the outside for storage.Two clips to hold bows.The typical storage square on the inside.A Velcro strap to go around the neck of the violin.An attached strap to hold the lid up when open.A separate velvet cloth to cushion between the violin and the bows.Possible drawbacks:The violin fits very tightly in the opening, possibly due to the chin rest. May be somewhat annoying to get in and out.The outside pockets are not large enough to hold music books.Overall, this seems like a great student case, especially for the price.
