I liked the secure storage. However it was awkward to open and close, especially in close quarters, such as a band rehearsal. The extra Velcro closures on top of the zipper and the Velcro on the handle were awkward and hard to use. This is too much of a pain to use.

I bought this case for a replacement for my son's clarinet. What a nice product!! Quality is amazing and the price honestly isn't that bad. Very roomy compartments for keeping music and notes in as well as keeping instrument clean and safe. The strap is offers great support and it just looks nice in general !

I purchased a Ridenour Lyrique AureA Bb clarinet some time ago. It came with the Ridenour-branded ProTec Slimline clarinet case. That case is just too small for me, and generally 'top heavy' for when I'm assembling my clarinet without another chair or bench to rest the case on. It's a good case, but just not good enough for me. I used to have an R-13 many years ago and I liked that imitation leather case and case cover, but I don't see the need to spend a lot when my clarinet is a hard rubber clarinet and not subject to temperature changes.I finally bought this Carry-All case. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS! A few notes:1) Yes, it does fit my clarinet with the Eb/Ab lever. It fits well and the closing lid is plush to keep the instrument in place. You can see it close-up in my pic.2) It certainly has plenty of room for an additional barrel and mouthpiece setup to be kept inside the case.3) I know I can keep ALL my clarinet accessories (neckstraps, screwdrivers, brushes, metronome, and tuner) all inside the case along with sheet music.4) I haven't completely eliminated the "top heavy" issue, but at least I could assemble my clarinet using the case as base to put it together. (I'm heavier than I was in my high school days.)If you're thinking about it - just get it.My only downside, is that I'll need a new K&M clarinet stand. I have the one that's 4-pegs and it won't fit this case because of how the bell and barrel are positioned. I'll just get the one that fits only inside the bell. Small price for such a great convenience!

Over time you can feel the weight of case. overall it great for having all your things in one place, many pockets for accessories and music. The middle section where it keeps the bell, barrel and mouthpiece is not separated if that something you want. sturdy will protect instrument

My daughter uses this for her clarinet and school work for band, and it is perfect. She can fit music, equipment, supplies, and even snacks for camp in this case. It is a great value for the money, and we are really happy with the case!

Buen producto, y buena calidad de los materiales. La compra fue para el clarinete de mi hermana de 13 años, asi que para ella es un poco pesada la maleta, sumandole el peso de su instrumento.

I’ve been wanting a new clarinet case and decided now that I’m halfway through my undergrad it would be worth the investment. It did not disappoint!I can easily store my clarinet, spare mouth piece/barrel, reeds, tools, repertoire, and more in the one case. I also highly recommend buying the backpack straps as it makes travelling even easier.

An excellent replacement to protect my favourite 75 year old clarinet. Plenty of spare space for other items and easy to carry. Well pleased.

This is probably the best clarinet case I've ever used. Yes, it's a little large and maybe a little bulky but a small price to pay for its excellent protection and unbelievable storage space. Spare mouthpiece, a second barrel, extra reeds, even an instrument stand; no problem, and it will also hold as many as 8-ten standard practice and song books. Even fully loaded the comfortable handle makes carrying this case a breeze. If your walk is a bit longer attach the included shoulder strap. It's even adjustable enough to wear with the strap over your head, leaving your hands free for other things. Add to all of this a five year warranty. I couldn't be happier and definitely recommend this case to anyone looking for quality, protection and space in a case. Absolutely an "out of the parker".

I have had several clarinets and cases made by the manufacturer (Buffet, LeBlanc) and by 3rd parties (Kaces and now Protec). All have been 'OK' but the Protec is the best case of all that I have had (and I guess also the largest). It is a little bit heavier than I expected but this has the advantage that you can assemble the clarinet with the case in your lap. (With the lighter Kaces, the supplies stored in the top zippered pocket cause the case to tip in that mode, requiring a bit more dexterity if you want to assemble sitting in a chair.)There is a roomy top zippered pouch (similar to the Kaces) with a couple of zippered smaller compartments inside - one with perforated sides for ventilation and with several pencil holders. (The Kaces in addition had two zippered flat compartments that were very handy.)Inside there is a nice compartment for music (not large enough for a traditional music folder, but large enough for orchestral works (14.5"x9.75"x1.5"). There are two elastic-closing compartments for reeds, swabs, etc. - either of them being larger than an other case I have owned. As I don't mind the extra weight (there's a shoulder strap if you wish to use it) it's my favorite case!

This is an extremely sturdy case with plenty of room for sheet music, books, reeds, and other accessories. It's great for keeping all the clarinet stuff together in one package. It is bulky, though, and may not be the best choice if you want something easy to manage for everyday use. For example, it does not fit into a backpack for carrying to & from school easily with other items. You will love it if you need or want the bulk for all your stuff, but you will dread it if you prefer a small package that is just big enough for essentials.
