I was having to take bore measurements 6” down inside some casing and regular shorter bore gauges were difficult to use and get repeatable results. This set worked great!I was a little worried about how inexpensive they were because that usually means there’s machine marks inside that can cause parts to move as you lock them in. I took apart the one I needed first, expecting to have to start filling down burrs and swirls and to my surprise all was good.These made the measuring job much quicker and measurements were repeatable.

Although this appears to be a quality set of gages, the 5/16 - 1/2 inch one came apart the first time I tried to use it. The end caps are glued on and come off easily and the spring flies out.
