I use these as cups, bowls, and mixing containers. They are sturdy, waterproof, microwaveable. Mouth is perfectly sized - wide enough for a large bowl of soup and narrow enough for double-sized cups of tea. A bit more expensive than buying 32 oz tall cups but far more useful.
