Recently had a large potluck luncheon at our church and everyone asked if we could get these cups for chili portion (so it doesn't spread all over a large plate with other foods). These cups were the perfect size, don't leak, and great for either hot (chili or soup) or cold (Ice cream or pudding)! Did I say they don't leak!!! Also microwavable, too. I've used them for breakfast oatmeal, and nuked something that was cold and it works without burning the cup -- I wouldn't recommend a long duration in the microwave (up to a minute or 2 is fine, more then that and probably not a great idea)!!! 8oz seems like a small cup, but its the best size for what we need them for. There is a separate lid purchase if you need lids, we don't, so these are perfect for us.
