Fit my "Mr Heater Big Buddy" perfectly. My heater manufacture date is "0416". I bought it late in 2016 and it never had a control knob. I used a small pair of vice grips on the bare shaft - not easy to use. Really glad I found this product.

Nice part, owners manual stated this part # but accurately needed the older version of this part, with narrow shaft.
