The way our laundry room is laid out, we needed a way to prop open the door to allow for air circulation. This little gadget is a wonder! Little more $ than I would usually spend, but worth it.

This is not hard rubber. It is very soft and flexible. I may have read the description wrong. I bought this to hold the lid of my TOP LOADING washing machine open a bit, but the rubber is much too soft and it just flattens. Having had Front loading washing machines and always keeping the door ajar, this may work, still I think it is too flexible.

This thing works so much better than what I used before. It's rubbery and springs the washer door back open but stays in place snugly. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for it when I bought it, but it really does work perfectly. I didn't need to mess with the adhesive stuff though, but it is at least awesome if you have a metal spot already on your washer for the magnet, which is nice and strong.

Prop and Stop – Front Load Washer Door Holder is a good product for the job! Keeps my washing machine door opened. It doesn't fall off when the door is bumped into (it's next to my garage door)!Keep in mind ... that the adhesive backed magnetic discs did not stick to the primer sticker (a little disc to use if your washer door is not metal; this helps the Prop and Stop to magnetize). But my easy fix was adding Loctite or Gorilla Glue to the back of the magnetic disc so it would stay! Perfect!

Really powerful magnet connects not only with the metal machine, but also with a metal screw which is recessed in the plastic door. So no need for the metal adhesives supplied. Beautifully soft and flexible silicon body also. Thank you for a top quality product!

I was so exited to try this door holder. For years, we've been leaving the washer door flung open to dry after each use. Unfortunately in our laundry room, if the washer door is left open, it blocks the doorway and traffic through the room, which is a real pain. This stopper helps prop the door open just enough to allow for air flow through the machine. No more leaving the door all the way open and in the way.I did not have to use the provided magnetic discs/stickers because our machine is magnetic around the door frame. It's very easy to just pop this on after laundry. I like how it removes for easy storage when you don't need it and doesn't damage the finish on the washer.

I'm new to front load washers. When reswarching, the complaint most people had was about mold & having to leave the door open. I wanted to be prepared so I looked at a few solutions. This seemed like the best fit for me. I was concerned when I realized that my washer door is not metal & the magnet wouldn't stick to the door. Turns out it doesn't matter for me. The machine itself is metal & as long as the magnet sticks on 1 side, I'm able to keep the door propped open. If there is ever a reason, I can affix the magnetic sticker to the door. But right now it works well as is for me. The magnet is strong & I love being able to stick it to the machine when not in use, so it's easy to find. Best purchase of the year! I highly recommend.

Love this! Now you can air the washer out after a wash without the door staying wide open. The only downfall is the little disk that you put on the door that hold it in place doesn't stay stuck so I ended up glueing it which is fine. Works well!

I remembered I had something like this in our RV to keep the fridge open in off season....this thing works like a charm. The only thing that might be improved on is the glue tabs....on metal they work and hold securely, but on plastic/ rubber (which so many machines are made with) the adhesive strips didn't work. I used a tiny bit of super glue, under the tack strip and it has been working great since. I would definitely recommend this product.
