The Prolux cat and dog groomer is a nice pet vacuum but it is a tad bit louder, especially on max then other similar pet vacuums. You get the standard grooming attachments and the cord is plenty long for use. I like how the hose wraps around the base as it helps make the vacuum fairly compact. Since this one is a little louder then my other one it is probably going to mainly be used as a hair vacuum. My cats are jumpy around it but my dog really likes it and seems to find it soothing. Overall, this is a nice pet vacuum but I would suggest using it primarily for dogs rather then cats.

It comes with the grooming tools you would need. There are 4 different sizes of clippers, and a 7 foot long hose. The long hose is great for "scaredy cats" because you can move the vacuum part further away from them and then sit with the hose under your leg with your back to the machine shielding it from view! It goes anywhere you want since it's cordless. I would definitely recommend this pet vacuum to other per owners that have a problem with their animals reacting to loud noises, and don't behave well at the groomer. Save time and money, and your sanity, and get this awesome vacuum! No more groomer for me! Highly recommended!

My husband uses it for his dog grooming business. It's quiet enough to use it while the dogs are on the table just to clean up the surface and they don't get stressed out because of the noise that regular vacuums usually have. Pretty loud still honestly.One thing also is the mechanism to switch the brush heads is literally impossible to work, I had to shave down the plastic with my nail drill bit in order for the part to slide in the way it should.
