Clippers worked great for a few months. But then none of the batteries would charge any longer. Waste of money.

Received the clippers, works great. Purchased same clippers from other vendor on Amazon-one battery dead. Was refunded. Thankfully ordered via Amazon For trimming horse

The clippers were purchased to use to prepare our horses for a horse show. We only clipped two horses, muzzle, fetlocks and bridle path. After the batteries died (about 60 minutes per battery), we tried to recharge the batteries. Even though the recharging light turned green, the clippers wouldn't work. In addition, trying to remove the clippers from the stand -- I needed to use oven mitts because I would have been burnt! I tried emailing the Oster Support that was in the enclosed manual but I have not received any word even if it has been nearly two weeks.

The clippers work well. However the batteries and the charger are an issue. One of two batteries never held much of a charge. Then the charger stopped working for no apparent reason after about a year (10 to 12 charges). Replacing the charger is too costly to be feasible. If you purchase this, I would highly recommend buying the AC adapter so that you can use the clippers if/when the batteries and charger fail. It works fine with the adapter, which makes me wish I had just gone with the corded A5.

I bought this to replace a 15+ year old earlier model that broke after a hard fall. Love everything about it. I use it only on my Scottish terrier at home, every couple of months, and it pays for itself in savings over trips to the professional groomer. I have small hands, but can easily and comfortably grip this, and don't find it unusually heavy. It does get warm, but not uncomfortably so, either for me or my Scotty. She doesn't mind the sound or feel at all. It stores neatly in hard-sided case. Handy to have the extra battery charged and ready to use in case our grooming session runs long and the initial battery slows down. After finding this on Amazon, I hesitated a few weeks before committing to such a pricey purchase, but now have no regrets. Would highly recommend.

I am a veterinarian starting out on my own. I have used many types of clippers in several different practices.this one is the best deal for the money. It is quiet so it doesn't bother the more sensitive animals - cats - likea louder one would. The cordless is definitely worth it so you don't have to find an outlet and always watchthat the cord doesn't knock things over. And so far the battery has lasted quite awhile for my mobile practice.I would purchase this product again.

This clipper is wonderful and well worth the price. When I cannot bring my long-haired cat to the groomers, I trim the long fur at home during the hot summer months. The motor on these clippers is pretty quiet, compared to the corded trimmers I have used before. When trimming your pet's fur, cordless is the only way to go and they will run away.Cons: after long storage you have to charge the battery before use. Sometimes runs out of charge if you run it for a long period of time.

Great Clippers, easy to use, a little heavy at first but easy to get used to when using the clippers. The charger is handy and having two battery packs is great for clipping our 100 lb dog. I read the other reviews for this product, as well as other clippers, and I'm very glad that I decided to spend a little more to get a great product. I also like that everything comes in a very strong carrying case.
