I didn't realize the 3/8 6PT tool was actually a tool that used a 1/2 drive ratchet or breaker bar, I fought sensor with the 3/8 drive socket tool and had to find an extension for the 3/8 breaker bar to break the sensor free. Had they labeled the 6PT to 1/2 instead of 3/8 I might have realized my 1/2" breaker bar would fit.... The machining on the black tool with the 3/8 drive socket would not allow the wrench to seat properly, no notch for the ball in the wrench which stopped the wrench from seating completely

There are 3 sockets all with 22mm. One of them was fraction of a millimeter too small so that it would fit the o2 sensor only part of the way. I had to file it down to make it fit.

I needed to remove 4 sensors on a caddy. Only the 1/2” drive tool is actually useful as the sensors are so tight. But even the most easily reached front sensor was only going to get stripped by this tool. So i used a large pipe wrench.The other 3 I was able to break loose with the 1/2” tool and a 18” bar.Best part is that the little plastic box looks good on my tool shelf.Cleaned and tested sensors and put them back in.

it does the job in tight spots but the metal on the reamer is not strong enough to clean the threads when installing the new O2 sensor

This kit has all the adapters you’ll need to take out your o2 sensor. I already had the long socket but the second o2 sensor on my car was in a tight spot. The other sockets made it easy to remove.
