This makes removing and installing oxygen sensors a breeze. I would not try it any other way.

Looks to be well built, but unfortunately too short to be used with Denso A/F sensors for my Toyota. Have to look for another one.

This made the difference between me being able to get the oxygen sensor out, or not being able to get it out. I wrestled with the sensor on my 2005 Nissan Altima Altima for about an hour before realizing I needed something specifically made for removal. Found this on Amazon at a low price and fast shipping. Without this socket, I would have never gotten it out. It still took a while, it was froze in, but eventually, it broke free. The socket seems to be well made for the price and pretty hefty. This tool saved me a lot of money from having to go to an auto repair shop. The pictures are of the socket after I used it, that's why it looks scratched and scruffed up.

This works well to break free the most stubborn O2 sensors, which can be a bear to get off. However, some sensors are really long and don't quite fit inside this slot without damage. This socket and slot needs to be about 1/2 inch longer for that. I don't think this particular tool is much different from all the others offered, so I don't know that you can find a longer one.Still, if the O2 sensor is being replaced anyway, just cram this on there or snip off the sensor lead and this will get the sensor out. You might need to use an impact driver to bust it free, but it should work. Of course, you won't be able to use this tool to install the new sensor. Use a box wrench or something else to make that happen.

Used this socket to remove a stubbornly frozen in O2 sensor. This socket was JUST deep enough to fit my O2 sensor but it made short work of the job. Heavy unit, seems well built. It will be ready for any future jobs in my tool box.
