So cheap looking that I threw it away - didn't even bother to gift it to my granddaughter

This silly little toy is a big hit with my toddler. She can change the slides herself and turn it on and off easily. A great anti tablet alternative that holds attention for a good amount of time. The slides are all really cute. Our favorite is the sea animals!
LOVE THIS❣❣❣

The toy does work. It is small and plastic and doesn't look like much but it does work and the kids actually love it. It is small but older kids (5-8) still have fun with it. I do like the fact that is comes with extra batteries and a lot of other projection slides. The body of the projection is also a case for all the extra stuff that comes with the toy. I like this one!!!!

I got this little "projector/flashlight" for my daughter who enjoys things that light up. This toy is in the shape of a cute bear and is made up of 3 parts that screw onto each other (the top which is the light source and houses the "film," the middle which is the bear head (covers the base), and the bottom which is the body of the bear that houses the film cartridges. The flashlight/projector has a switch that can be easily pushed up/down to turn on/off. The film cartridges slide into place and can be removed without any difficulty. The flashlight is pretty bright for being as small as it is. The sweet spot for the best picture quality seems to be ~12 inches from the surface. Any closer or further away and the picture becomes blurry. The base that holds all the cartridges is made of plastic that I wouldn't say is the most durable (would probably crack if it fell from high surface or somebody sat on it). There are 10 cartridges in total with 8 pictures per cartridge that are separated into different categories such as numbers, birds, letters, dinosaurs, etc. Also included are extra batteries, a wrist strap, and a tool to remove the casing to change the battery. At the time of this review, the cost of this is about $12.74 with a 40% off coupon, which is a great deal. Even at $12.74, I think I would still purchase this because my daughter would love it.

This adorable bear projector is similar to the View Master toy I had when I was little. The big difference is that you project this onto a surface instead of peering into the part where your eyes rested against the toy. I did look at two pictures in the same wheel of slides to check for accuracy. Parents, please be aware that replacement batteries came in the portion of the toy where the extra slides are kept, and you should remove those before giving the toy to children. Overall, a cute toy that may need some adult supervision until you are sure the child won’t out them in his mouth

This reminds me a lot of the old View-Master Show Beam flashlight projector. Besides the fun aspect, a child can learn (depending on age) about light and color transparency, and how things get projected.
