Power supply works well so far. Has alot of features and seems accurate. After reading some reviews about loose wires, components or screws inside the unit, i was happy to see that was not the case with mine. Everything seemes solid and was well put together. My only gripe, the voltage and current adjustments can be a little combersome when making frequent adjustments. However, this seems to be a common adjustment method for most cheaper variable power supplies.

It was a nightmare to figure out how to save presets but in the end it turned out to be that you have to be saving it while in preview mode and do it quick.otherwise everything works as it should. i will keep this one.

UPDATE: I’ve bought TWO (2) of these. You can ONLY save to M1 & M5 and that’s it. Both power supply’s had EXACT SAME PROBLEM. Return. DO NOT TRUST THESE REVIEWS. So annoying because the must know this. Hence, the price.—————————-- Full review belowFirst the "MANUAL' is just TWO pages and pages are 3"x3" so it is almost non-existent. Also, whoever wrote the so-called manual KNOWS NOTHING about this power supply. They basically got someone to press buttons and write down what happened. I KID YOU NOT. Its like "Press the M1 button and the M1 button will light up. If voltage is blinking, Rotate the dial and change the voltage." They mention that the Voltage and Current SETTING for a button will be SAVED if you press "Esc" button OR if 5 seconds go by, where it will TIME OUT and SAVE. It does SAVE IT, as long as you DO NOT turn it off. For mine, HM305T, no matter what I do, after I turn it OFF and back ON, it forgets what was in those Memory Locations M1 to M6. I DO NOT know if all of these power supply's are like that or if I just got a BAD ONE. With my LIMITED TESTING, with a multimeter, it seems to OUTPUT exactly what is set on the power supply. I also hooked it up to a GameBoy Color and it powered it OK without blowing it up. I haven't tried powering a LAPTOP for repair yet, but Im hesitant if it's not working perfectly. Maybe there is some magic sequence that would allow me to save VOLTATE/CURRENT/SECONDS to M1 through M6 but I think Ive tried everything. There is a "CU" (Change Voltage) button and a "CC" (Change Current) button, a "NXT" button, and a "ESC" button. I've tried a lot of permutations/sequences but nothing will cause them to SAVE. Full Disclosure: One time, it DID save VOLTAGE to "M2" but I was trying so many button combinations, I couldn't remember what combination it was. Again, the "manual" is useless. I tried multiple sequences, "short" presses, "long" presses, etc, but I cannot repeat it. I've also scoured the internet looking for another USER or reviewer (Youtube, etc) to show how they do it, but I have not found anyone say "THIS is how you do it".

Die externen Messwerte stimmen exakt mit den von Gerät angezeigten Werten überein. Der Lüfter ist angenehm leise, die Funktionen umfangreich.Einzig die Anleitung dürfte etwas größer gedruckt sein...

I am a hobbyist and yet have 3 benchtop power supplies but this one is the most versatile of the 3, when I put together LED lights together and need to test the circuits with different voltages and amperages I go straight to this power supply and set it for 6 different levels of power and current. it is very handy to have this unit, the readings are accurate and its overall performance is higher than I expected.

Easy to use; accurate to displayed precision with light load, according to my Fluke DMM. Looking forward to operating it by remote USB control - docs minimal but what is this little cd included? Haven't seen one of these in a while.

Supper easy to use and figure out. The software is less the useless plus you don't want to install Chinese software anyway. All it does is let you put the v an i and select the output on or off from your laptop. Its small and powerful for its size and really quite. Its perfect for top balancing your batteries. And as you can see the V is right on the money. I would like to add to the engineering department will your next design give better viewing angles to the display. I have to be looking right at it to see if the display has an 7 or 1 on the top row. Thanks.

I'm just a hobbyist and wanted a 30V/10A psu that's easy to use, reasonably accurate, and basic memory functions to save my most common settings. Interface is a little confusing at first, e.g., storing a setting in one of the M buttons and recalling was a bit trial and error because my old eyes cannot make out the miniscule text in the manual. For my needs this psu is more than sufficient and the best mix of features and functions I found in this price range.

If you have Norton protecting your computer, it will see the software as a "strange" function and not allow the software to work. When trying to run, a error "datebase locked" occurs. This is because Norton has locked access to this file required to run the program. You must right click on the Norton icon in the task bar and select "View Recent History" and scroll down till you see "Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by PowerDC.exe". The select this entry and then select exclusion under "Actions". This should then allow the program to access its .db3 file. Note that if you move the program or reinstall, you will need to repeat this. Also watch Circuits by Code YouTube video on the HM305P/HM310P about changing settings and editing the XML files.Hope I save you hours of head scratching.

The only thing that would make this better are two things, and they are - Since we have to go into the hidden menu to turn on/off the keypress beeping how about you tell us what the other settings are for in it. The second thing is that the software for the computer were more intuitive with an actual reason in being. As it is the Software is trash, but the hardware is really great, so I give it five stars since I don't care about its lousy software.
