These are well made forceps, though I am not using them for what they are intended for. These are great for a shop or craft room for when you need that certain tool.

The finish is better than expected and the knurling is as good as it gets. The teeth inside the jaws is nicely cut and they work as intended. They are a little sticky when you try to fully open them and does require full hand strength to close again (or open fully) however I'm sure this will wear in over time.

Disclaimer: I got these not for the purpose of pulling teeth. I got these to use for 3D printing and use as plier-like material. The build quality is sturdy. The handle is a bit coarse but probably intended for better grip. The opening/closing is meh for my use-case. It feels clunky but it has gotten the job done well so far.

High quality pliers. Machining is good. The hinge firm with no play and no tight areas.

My nephew is loosing teeth and the MEDSPO Professional Dental Extraction Forceps are a lot easier than string, your fingers or a pair of pliers to remove the wiggly little teeth. It si also well made and I can see it ending up in my toolbox once its duties as a kids tooth remover are done

This tool is most impressive. The hinge is solid, tight and completely wobble free. The weight to size ratio is quite significant compared to any tools I own that are similar in proportion. This is built with heavy-duty design and construction with true heavy weight to prove it, which is obvious the moment it's picked up. The jaws are supremely awesome, with varying degrees of gripping serrations and a curvature that's perfect for the small, rounded objects they're intended for. They contour the edges of any micro screws, connectors, button, and switches I've used them with, and based on that, I can easily see them being essential for someone working with teeth. This appears to use the iron alloyed type of stainless steel rather than the nickel composite version, because it is more reactive to my magnets than the latter stated above. It's still a low rate of magnetism compared to any standard magnetic metal, so they are stainless steel, I just expected the nickel alloy for a dental tool, since it has a superior resistance to corrosion. Just be sure to dry them very well, or with heat sterilization after they have any liquid exposure. Don't put them away wet, as it could eventually react with the iron composition resulting in sporadic spotting. There was a time when I didn't know there were different kinds of stainless steel, until the day a magnet stuck to one of my tools but not another, and since both were labeled stainless, I began researching, thus learning the variations I mentioned earlier. All told, I really like this tool for its professional grade function, specialized performance, and it's source material quality. It's value exceeds it's monetary worth, and should please anyone who can relate to these attributes. I hope that's some helpful insight, and have a remarkable day, take care.

I am not a dentist, but you never know when something like this could come in handy. I do like wood working and thought something like this would work way better than a set of needle nose pliers for extracting dowels or some similar type of procedure. It kind of gives me chills knowing what these were designed for, and imagining these gripping a tooth and yanking it out to the root kind of makes me cringe, but these jaws look perfect for the job. They're a little hollowed out, and very textured, and there are 4 pressure points that really create a secure grip. The handles have a really heavy knurl so they will not slip at all, and the hinge fits together so precisely without play, they are very well crafted and quite a solid instrument. You can tell they're brand new by the tight movement, no slop or play. yet they did loosen up a bit with use. The jaws do not close completely so you can't grip anything smaller than about 1/16", and they open up to approximately 3/4" so they're pretty versatile. They are a nice quality stainless steel, and polished to a mirror finish. I found out they are attracted to a magnet when I put a magnetic screwdriver into the slot at the hinge to see what that was for. I'm impressed with these and the price was not bad either. Thank you for the great tool, I didn't have anything similar in my collection and I'm sure they'll come in handy.

Worked great for my 6 year old's loose front tooth. Adult fingertips are too big to precisely pinch on a child's baby tooth after all.
